I need some help from people with divorce cases. Can the date of effectiveness of divorce be earlier than notice of talaq

date of notice of talaq: March 2016
date of failure of conciliation: February 2016
date of effectiveness of divorce: February 2016
date of issue of certificate: May 2016

Is notice of talaq issued in mutual divorce deed case as well?

The answer is No. there has to be a 90 day gap in between date of notice and date of failure of conciliation, IRCC looks at this very closely.
example: if you date of failure of conciliation is 01-February-2016; the date of notice should reflect 01-November-2015.

Hmm well i'm hoping for PPR letters get send out this week. i reached out to LVO and got the following response on 11/15:


"Thank you for your e-mail. We are pleased to advise that the application has been approved and is now awaiting issuance of the passport request letter. This can take 7 – 10 days due to current workloads. We trust this information is of use and take this opportunity to thank you for your patience."

My case is also in sydny.but I am worry about my medical from one month.because they said they hv received my medical results.but they did not said it is passed or hv some problem with it.

10/3 email stating file being transferred to London
11/4 email from London Office stating they have received the application and started processing
11/6 Pre arrival invitation email for services etc
11/8 CIC online site, status changed from "in process" to 'decision made"
11/8 GC key site didn't show any updates besides the two letter attachments, AOR 2 and Pre arrival invitation.
11/25 GC key site says still 12 weeks to go, background and eligibility checks still in process.

Hi. What does your status say on GC Key? Have you linked your application online? ECAS does not show medical status..it will only show medical received. Normally approval of medical takes one to two days and the status is available online on your GC Key. Also, if there was anything wrong with your medical results, the medical centre would've called you by now..i dont think you should worry but i would advice to link you application.
