Salam,

My wife received a letter from CIC with the subject of "Invitation to Pre-arrival services" on Dec, 09. This letter states that you are now able to receive pre-arrival services funded by Govt. of Canada, with the list of available resources. This is very good initiative from GC. However, her application status is still "In Progress" !!!

Any thoughts around it ?

Happy New Year to Every body in advance.
usually pre-arrival services letter means that PPR is not far away. maybe a couple weeks.

My ecas status changed into, "in process" last week. Does this mean my file has been transfered to LVO?

if here - Permanent Residence Application Status - "In Process" then yes but you should receive a letter soon confirming the same that your file has been transferred to LVO.

Yes! It says, "in process" for the principal applicants side. I am hoping to hear from LVO no sooner than second week of January, next year. Should I expect a mail from CIC about file transfer though? It seems like almost all LVO applicants get one, from CIC.

Little observation,

LVO is running slower this year than 2016.

in 2016 they had touched even July applicant for DM, while this year in 2017 still stuck on May-17 applicants.

Well we did not submit it upfront. They mailed the medical request in March 2017 which got lost. After waiting and waiting till June I finally contact my MP and got another request on my cic in few days. So my husband did his medical in June 2017 which is good till June 2018.

You really need to contact your MP it does not make any sense most of the people from Feb already got their visas and you are still waiting for medical request. Get in touch with mp asap.
