How many days is DM taking after BGC goes in process for Pak cases in LVO?

In the Canada Pak spread sheet, there are only 3 people whose BGC and DM are present in 2017 (previous years dont have BGC mentioned). Hard to determine any trend on the basis of 3 people.

There doesn't seem to be any definite trend in general. For some people BGC and DM happen on the same day and for others it takes months between the two. Recently, however, it seems there is less time between the two, maybe only a week or two.

Mississauga didn't tell me why they took 6 months on my file. but when I have emailed them last month they said everything is in order, so just wait. and 2 days ago I received an email that my file has been transferred to LVO

Ordering GCMS notes now would be a good idea. I have a feeling security probably took long. But good news is, it is done. Considering you are a march applicant, my guess is LVO will start eligibility soon on your file as lots of March applicants are seeing BGC's go in progress. Keep us posted. Thanks.

How long does it take for background checks
to start after interview? My hubby had his interview 2 weeks ago and it went really well. Visa officer was satisfied and said the next step would be background checks but I inquired from my MP this weeks and he said that background checks haven’t been started on our file yet. I’m worried about why they are delaying us

I'm also April 2016 applicant and my background checks are in-process since 12 months and still waiting. My file is in Abu Dhabi visa office.

It's finally October guys! May Allah bring in good news for us all . I wonder if LVO will have a blitz before Thanksgiving holidays. That would mean this week will be loaded with activity. Any predictions?

Some people do not update us when there BGC go in process, some do not have access to mycic(those who have reps) and for some BGC changes very late e.g. in my case, Ecas was in process and gckey said eligibility in process when I got my PPR thru gckey. BGC started a few days later after I had already submitted by passport to VFS.

Also there are no fixed timelines for BGC. It can take a few days to many months depending on the travel history, work history (govt or forces employed) etc of the applicant.
