I was just wondering: Do the visa officers processing Pakistani cases have to be Pakistani themselves? Like how would they assess the cultural contexts if they aren't?

No. I had the same case and it didn't cause any issues. Had nikkah then rasams at home then walima on the same day. No barat laal dress, no Quran photos and it turned out ok. we also had engagement and mehndi functions prior.
Every case is different. share lots of pics of as many occasions as u can.

Sounds good, although we didn't have any prior mehndi/engagement functions but as I said tons of pictures afterwards, so let's hope for the best.

hi how do you know that your BGC are complete? no idea how long it will take?. you can ask for update directly from LVO. hope they will reply

These days it's taking longer to transfer file to LVO. You can maybe involve your MP and find out why your file hasn't been transferred yet

My application was submitted April 2016
received an email in Dec 2016 from London Visa office regarding Ruksate and more pictures and reference letters
Received Email in May 2017 that an interview is required
Received Email in aug 2017 for 2nd medical which is done and interview in Sep 2017 .
Been asked to fill 4 forms again , pictures , reference letter Education certificates. And Been Asked if my wife who is my Spenser can accompany or be with me on phone . My wife is living with me since she came to Pakistan 2014 may, We visited Dubai 8 times together.
Can you guys guide me for Interview ?
Why should I issue you an immigrant visa? What can be the reasonable answer

My lawyer saying the same. There is an overload at LVO. Might be because of that. You should contact ur MP to find out the exact reason of not transferring the file to London. My EAS says APPLICATION RECEIVED
