Hi Friends,
After the interview i got a letter for medical. On the letters its written that provide evidence that i have done my medical with in 30 days. I got my medical done 2 days ago. Only thing i got from IOM Medical islamabad is receipt. IOM medical said they will send reports directly to cic. It is really confusing to me. Do i still have to send them the recipt or i am good?

No, mine still says 'You application is in progress. Next step is to complete Background checks'. So, while I wait to get clearance on my interview, I thought to check around to see how much longer I need to wait for the BGC's to complete. Some people have said it takes 3 - 6 months. My MP said 2 months. That's still a long wait!

It varies from person to person and is known to take longer for male applicants than female applicants.

My husband just had his checks for his business trip to Europe. Hoping they just piggy back from that.

i got email today from london immigration saying they received my additional documents and have been added to the file and my file is in queue to be reviewed by visa officer

How long it took to get an acknowledgment from LVO? Did you make an inquiry or they emailed you at own?

I called IRCC and they are still on the security check. We don't know how long that will take because external partners are used to verify information, and IRCC can only continue their work on the file when those partners get back to them. The good news is that it could finish at any time, meaning it could be soon (but I don't know and can't predict), and that we are still within normal processing times for these sorts of cases. We would come to the end of the expected window in mid-September of this year (but it could finish before then). I hope this information is helpful to you. I will continue to follow-up on this.

Did u check. Website says processing time is now 20 months instead of 21. So which makes it august for u and july for us. Bt still i dnt believe these timelines.i wish we could knw how long
