Congrats, MA! Yes MYCIC is always slow. You can also order notes to see status of eligibility. Yours was a Nikkah only case. What evidence/reply did you provide in response to the Visa Officers concerns. It would be helpful for all.

I explained to them why I can't do Rukhsati yet as me and my whole family lives in Canada. I explained to them what Rukhsati is and how it's done in our culture. I included letters from sponsor's and applicant’s parents stating why the Rukhsati has been postponed.

They asked why we have less pictures from marriage and after. I explained to them it’s because I was following the application where it asks 15-20 pictures. I also provided about 150 more pictures. A reference letter from my Boss stating why I couldn’t stay longer in Pakistan.

I also provided:

What’s app chat,

Call Logs,

Screenshots of pictures we share on what’s app,

Money gram transfer receipts,

My CRA account showing me as married.

CRA Income tax refund showing me as married status.

I put my wife as a dependent on my health and drug coverage from my work, and showed that as a proof.

Receipts of dress and jewellery bought for the Nikah.

Flight ticket of my upcoming trip to Pakistan.

Brother, I did provide these requested things before when submitting my application. However, the mistake that I made was I provided the Urdu nikkah nama and marriage certificate. But I did not provide the attested English nikkah nama. And I did not provide much of the communication proof.

I always thought MM345 was a sister for some reason :/. Anyhow, so I posted additional documents after our rukhsati (without them asking) by mail. I've detailed all that I included in the package in the hope that if someone is in a similar position as I was they can find this of some use. Naturally all cases are different and this hasn't necessarily worked for us as yet (fingers crossed) but might serve as a good reference to send additional documents.

I wrote to my MP thanking him for checking on my file back in October and that I am near completion. In turn, he asked if I received all my documents back and if not, he can send them the request to have them returned to me. Good guy after all, I guess.

1. Log in with GC Key account.
2. Permanent Residence > Family Class (Spouses)
2. Application Number and Family Name - Copy/pasted application number from email (including the F) and entered PA's last name.
3. City of Birth - I entered 1 space (hit spacebar once)
4. Country of Birth - Selected PA's country of birth
5. Passport Info - Did not enter any passport info
6. Other Application Info - Filled out the other application info as per our application and put '2' as the number of members in the application (Assuming 1 PA, 1 Sponsor, 0 dependents)

i would say order the notes first and see what going on the file

take that to MP so he or she will know where to start..

my wife ordered notes but after 2 weeks cic told us to sign and send a consent letter from me, to b honest im fed up of these things now dnt want to reply to dat mail.
Cant we just talk directly from mp? Any criteria for dat? Where nd how to contact?

Cannot say. its upto cic. 1 month before interview they will email you regarding dsye of interview.

Guys,

As per new application , Max of 20 photos and 10 pages of communication are allowed to prove the authenticity of the relationship. So I filtered my chat history , choosing one conversation per month to filter year worth of chat history into 10 pages and for photos, I am attaching two from the Nikkah signing ceremony , 4 from wedding ( I had combined barat/walima) showing rukhsati and us sitting on stage with guests and rest of pictures from family gatherings , birthday parties etc.

Now when I read posts here on this forum , people have submitted 100-200 page worth of communication history and ton of pictures as a proof in past. So I am bit confused, should I limit photos and communication history as per the limit identified in the checklist or ignore it and send them more pictures and communication history?

Even as per old application forms they want 20-30 photos and when u submit 30 photos they send u additional document request to send more and more. Also atleast add 4 chats on different dates from a month.
