They had concerns about the relationship and that Nikkah only is classified as incomplete marriage. Their concerns were addressed via a detailed letter explaining the reasons behind Nikkah only with alot of proof (pictures/trips/ marriage venue bookings, wedding card copies, finanical support copies etc) - Luckily the interview was waived and received PPR

MashaAllah good. you got PFL bcz of only nikkah case. How you explain to LVO without any interview?

Hi there, question to those who received additional document/photo/etc request..

Do you get any type of acknowledgement once LVO receives the documents etc? If so, when?

I sent photos as they were the incorrect size back in start of November but there has been no acknowledgement at all by LVO. Should I email them?

Some people have asked for what have I submitted with for my wife PR application so here it is:

Quick Background:

I had 2 functions; 1. Mehndi and 2. Nikkah +Rukhsati +Barat function, 2 consecutive days. No Walima as we didn't have time.

Items submitted for Proof of relationship: (All copies were colored)

1. My wedding was in March and I applied on June 28th

2. Copy of Urdu Nikkah Nama with certified English translation + Nadra certificate copy

3. Photos: 5 photos of baat paaki, 9 photos of Mehndi function, 3 photos of Nikkah ceremony signing, 19 photos of barat, 9 photos of rukhsati and 5 photos of after wedding dinner and outings.

4. All of my wives ID documents (passports, NIC) where changed to reflect her name change.

5. Communication: I applied 3 months after my wedding so I had 3 months worth of communication; whatsapp call & chat, Skype calls, Skype face-to-face call, facebook announcements, emails . A total of 100 pages of communication that included 60 pages of my whats app chat screenshots, 20 pages of my wife phone whats app screen shots, 5 pages of my whats app call log screen shots, 5 pages of my wife whats app call log screen shot, 5 pages of Facebook screen shots showing "got married" and people comments + comments from everyone on our wedding picture, 2 pages of Skype call log history in word, 5 pages of Skype video call screen shot, 3 emails pages.

6. Canada revenue agency status change screen shot to show change in Martial status.

So that was pretty much what I submitted for my application. My main concern were that I didn't have a walima and I stayed with only 4 days with my wife after wedding. Alhumdollilah CIC didn't have a problem with that so that's I good news for some of us here. I have a lawyer who made my file, she had neatly made separators for each of the items, forms, pictures and proof supports. Also a cover letter for the file.

This is so far what I remember , if anyone has any questions PM me. Lets keep all each other in our prayers lots of couples have been waiting long so lets pray for all of them.
