Guys i have a query. If someone has any info kindly help me.i submitted my passport five days ago how long they take more to send it back with visa? And secondly mycic account still shows final decision not started is this normal? When are they going to update mycic

Contact your MP and send them a case specific inquiry as reminder.

Already did email on 23rd nov, and they replied its under background check..we will contact you soon..

So dear members,

Got my gcms notes today and according to that my eligibility and criminality has been passed. medical has been extended by one year as per notes showing. only thing left is security screening which is delayed because they said i have never submitted schedule A but now its been recieved by CS and then he assigned file to JH and written validity date of 22nd dec 2016. since 29th oct my file put away.. what should i do to move them..?

same to you, i dont know why they are doing this thing, till 1 november just waiting security screening
criminality pass
medical pass
eligibilty pass
my question is what is the different b/w criminality and security, and which one take more time. when ever i send inquiry they reply you are under routine background check since 21 july what should i do ?

i need a sanity check on this please:
i am thinking of making a collage of the group photos taken on my wedding and valima. so what i am doing is putting 4 pics together in a single 5x7 pic.
will this be doing it too much? plus if this is all good, then would cic have an issue by saying that in the pics we can only see a limited amount of people and not the 400 guests you are talking about in your application?

I wouldn't recommend that. CIC wants the names of all the people in the picture + date + event. Putting it all in a collage would make that difficult and sort of make them question the genuinity of the pictures. Keep them separate, label them as they have mentioned and send them as much pics you can to satisfy the 400 guests that they are asking..

Putting it all in a collage would make that difficult and sort of make them question the genuinity of the pictures. Keep them separate, label them as they have mentioned and send them as much pics you can to satisfy the 400 guests that they are asking..

so should i send them like 50 pictures of JUST groups made with the bride and groom for the two days? that would bring the total number of pics that i will be sending to around 120-130.

Mine security screening has been started since 16th sept 2016.... provided schedule A on 3rd oct...since then all quiet..

Send them photos of new faces with the bride and groom not sent earlier. More group photos yes. Also if people are going in or coming out during Barat/rukhsati that is a good shot too since it shows a lot of people. Take shots of people sitting along the tables and stuff and as many far shot pictures you can find along with the other pictures.

so it doesnt matter if the bride and groom are in the photo?

Most of your photos should have the bride and groom. You can add non-bride groom photos and explain at the back as well the section of hall/house.

guys my wife had a mayon a week before the wedding. this event was not attended by anyone from our family and neither did we have any mehndi from our side since we were short on time and had to do a lot of preps since all of my family lives in canada. my wife signed the nikkah during her mayon while I signed it 4 days later in a masjid. When mentioning this do I write all about this or should I write something that she signed the nikkah papers the same day as i did? Does signing the papers days before the groom raise any red flags?

Can someone reply to this query please.
