After all the positive notes of the officer, and the fact that you provided the Nikah nama and birth certificate, there is no apparent reason for interview. May be the interview group was entered before you provided the documents. In any case, your MP should help you to find out if you are scheduled for an interview.

So it means Urdu nikah nama is must along with English translation and Nadra Marriage certificate?

another question i have Canadian born son, on his birth certificate only his Canadian mother's name should my name (father) must be mentioned on it as well or it will be fine?? please reply

My baby was born in Pak, so I have no idea my friend.

i need some help. I am looking to get married and sponsor my wife.

we are only looking to do a nikkah and a few family events followiung the nikkah. But we are not having the ruksati or valima as my wifes parents want her pr to come before they can do her ruksati. Please advise if all nikkah only applications get rejected or they are considered.

Also is nadra marriage certificate important. i was told they only ask for the urdu and english nikkah nama.

Please advise.

That could be true, however, no where in the notes does it mention that I need an interview. In the notes, however, it clearly states that the VO is satisfied that we are legally married.

I saw the interview thing on the first page of the notes, 15th line down which says: Group Name is where I saw "Interview Islamabad Paper"

So i think that may be they waive off interview.

CIC demands that you do Ruksati for straight forward cases to be processed faster. Check the country specific requirments on CIC they have listed Ruksat specifically. CIC gives Nikah only cases a lot of trouble and its a head ache in the long run. I would recommend you do Ruksuti no matter what.

Yes. Make sure your wife completes the Long form birth certificate online and adds your name. I made sure to add my husband's name. It just saves you alot of hassle especially when making a nicop card for your child.
Althought in canada, the mother is considered primary guardian, its the opposite in pk.

the london spousal spreadsheet already has more accurate stats because they're collecting data for all spousal apps being processed through LVO, not just pakistani apps. i'm an admin on that spreadsheet and i'm helping them stay in sync with this thread.

it doesn't make sense to have separate spreadsheets for the same visa office. i get that sometimes we want to only look at stats for pakistani apps because LVO uses different assessment criteria for us, but that's what the filtered PK sheets are for.

I really believe they will remove you Inshallah from interview list. They can't interview you just to confirm all this again. Stay strong we are praying for you. Inshallah everything will be fine.

Hey flx2015, hope ur all good. I still haven't received any update or email but now looking at the notes that landingPR received i'm getting a bit worried-- My mp told my everything was completed its just the immigration officer that they're waiting for-- I haven't received any email as well is there anything I can do-- they also cnfrmd my docs were received by LVO- so I don't know what's the hold up--
