so what you think they asking me to pay thr rprf is this something postive and visa officer made the decision and just want some more proof before sending ppr?? just asuming..

yehe bat to mere abhe tak samj nhi ati k LVO ne pakistani culture ki srif kuch limited chezy perh li baki sab kuch nhi .... like pakistan mai ajkal limited guest marriage ho rahe hain wo nhi perha LVO ne...

I think LVO wants explain every thing in detail what ever we did but they wants more n more explaination

I know a lot of people missed this but in country specific forms it says they need Ruksati pics. I didnt know before also until I got married. LVO deliberately has this criteria of a full function with Ruksati. Anyone who deviates from this norm needs to clearly explain why they didn't follow the customs. If you have a logical explanation with sufficient proof to back yourself up then it works. But lots of people don't know this and don't explain in detail in there application. So when LVO opens there files there first impression is very negative and they go into higher scrutinize mode.

Another forum member before I was going to apply said don't rush to submit your application. Take the time to assess ur case according to application and then write and provide support. First impression is very important

I have seen that CIC has asked the following people for additional proofs. Seems like the percentage of cases being asked for additional proof is going up.

My app was recieved on 9th May and it was Nikah only case. Haven't heard from them yet, what could be the reason? or what should i be expecting

Yesterday, I sent Khan bhai a list of things he can send to LVO in addition to the proofs and explanations he was asked. I have listed my suggestions below for the group in case anyone gets a similar doc request in future. Other members please give your input to Khan in a PM or on the board. Thanks so much.

1)Make ruksati date even 6 months from now doesn't matter fix date, book hall, make invitation cards
2)Inform LVO about Ruksati date in cover letter and give them proofs
3)Give all the pics you have with your wife especially selfies, bombard them with pics
4)Inform them of your upcoming trip to visit your wife in Dec, send them ticket receipt and itinerary
5)Get your parents and other family members who are Canadian citizens to write letters on your behalf stating they know about your marriage. That they know the girl and her family. That they will Insha Allah attend ruksati in Pak and tell them to explicitly state in the letter that they are Canadian citizens
6)Tell LVO in a cover letter that you are a govt of Canada employee have taken oaths and abide by a code of ethics
7)A soon as you get to Pak in December take a lot of intimate pics with your wife, her family, and any members of your family. Then upload pics and courier them to LVO immediately. Also send them your boarding passes and passport stamps right away

I am still not sure if I should tell them that Govt employee thing. Not sure how they will take it

Definitely take it as a positive that they asked you to pay rprf. It means they are just tying up loose ends and are almost done with your app, insha Allah.

Can a Canadian citizen student sponsor her husband?
if yes then what are the require documents to sponsor her husband who is living outside of Canada?

Hey guys what exactly is my wife supposed to recieve with her passport ? Is it just the visa pasted on the passport or is there any other documentation that is required as well ?

Visa + Confirmation of PR (COPR). this is your PR approval that your wife will show at the immigration at the airport

Thank you sir, she just recieved the documentation the COPR says Not Valid for Travel ? should i be concerned with this ?
