My wife is at the step of submitting passport for visa in Islamabad and we are trying to understand what fees are involved. I have already paid the $1040 sponsorship fees, are there other fees involved with applying for the visa?

yes i have already clearify them about rukhsati in cover letter and my lawyer have post all my reply with further pics and docs, so what you thing that how much the time will take LVO for final decesion ????

Both should be fine. I ordered it through the phone (the automated system) and never received it even after waiting 2 weeks. So I called CRA directly and she sent me my option C again, and I finally received it in a week.

With everything the point is to follow up. Follow up. Do you due diligence.

When I submitted my application, I sent both my 2014 & 2015 Notice of Assessment AND the 2015 option C. Just in case, it might not be needed but I sent it anyway..

I got notes and they have mention original documents sent to sponsor address in canada and also medical and eligibility passed but background and security not started.
How long does it takes to do background and security ? I was requested on 24 oct to provide update police certificates and schedule A background declaration form which i have uploded already...
Plz advise...

Sometimes they send them to sponsor and sometimes to PA

Hi Sarrah,

When I got my ppr I was told to submit my passport to Abu Dhabi office, I emailed them through case specific query that I am in Pak and if I can submit my passport there and they said you can do it ( got the reply within 24 hrs). Make sure you email them first about it before submitting.

How can i contact them as i havnt emailed them even once. Should i reply at the email they sent mail asking if i hav plans to renew pp. also can u advice me where do they return the original documents?? At sponsor address or at applicants?

my wife paid around 1400 rupees when submitting her passport at the VFS in lahore.

One question... as i received an email from LVO for photographs and i already have sent them to London, does it mean that my sponsor eligibility has approved and my app has moved to LVO?

It all depends on the visa officer, some officer looks at re-sent documents in 2 weeks some take more time. depending on the information you provide. We tend to see thay can take anywhere from 1mth - 2mths to make decision if they don't need anything else.

And to your other question how I knew its Ruksuti they asked for to you. Its cause thats the most common thing they ask concerning "additional" pictures.
