Thanks for the response.
I have filed my application on basis of Nikkah, and recently got Rukhsati and Valima events done, so looking to voluntarily send a letter to LVO as an update along with all the proofs. So just looking for a sample letter to LVO from members who have been through the same situation..

there's no "correct" format for a cover letter. just ensure you have the following and you'll be fine.

1. your UCI
2. your file number
3. mention that you are voluntarily submitting additional proof of relationship
4. give details on which events were performed and when

Do i need to send Appendix A and photos & passport copies through my mycic?

nope. you send everything together via VFS.

1. passport request letter + appendix A (6 pages total)
2. two photos as per the specs outlined in the letter
3. your passport

When i check the Mycic, view submitted application, there is a requirement saying Passport need and upload option.. what do i do with that

When i check the Mycic, view submitted application, there is a requirement saying Passport need and upload option.. what do i do with that

ignore it. that's only for visa exempt applicants who aren't required to submit their physicial passport.

when did you submit it? i hope my wife's passport gets dispatched from ISB before imran khan's protest. :-\

it doesn't matter whether you've got the best lawyer in the world or a letter of endorsement from trudeau himself. nothing matters until a visa officer opens your file and looks at what's inside it. the problem is that for most of us, this doesn't happen until 7-8 months down the road.

I firmly believe that you have to upload digital scans of the requested documents through mycic in addition to sending hard copies by mail. Plz don't ignore that. I posted a message with steps to follow.

You dont need to upload your passport copy on mycic that is only for visa exempt people it is clearly written in the ppr letter. Only have to submit your passport with other requirements to the nearest VFS center and they must have given you 3 options how to do it.

He got married in Dec2015 stayed in lahore for 2 weks after marriage. No honey moon . Applied on June22,2016 from canada

Hmm well 2 weeks after marriage is a good amount of time. So I guess he had a lot of post marriage photos to support his case. Most of the people here don't stay many days after marriage. I guess that was one good plus. Also, I think his immigration officer was good too.. ;D ;D

As Fate has already mentioned above, the PPR letter clearly states that only visa exempt applicants are required to upload a digital copy of their passport onto MyCIC.

Did this field to upload passport on Mycic open up for your wife too?

it did, yes. she has already submitted her passport to VFS, and we never uploaded anything to MyCIC.
