Peeps..i have a question.
My husband had attached the police certificate, but in my Gcms notes it's saying '' police certificate 0 " they already asked me for additional document (proof of our relationship) does that mean they will request for police certificate? Will that delay it further?

According to cic website its still valid. They want a certificate after exit date.

Travel history is not red flag but overstay is certainly a red flag .

For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country.

I was just reading the recent posts and realized that if there is a gap between the marriage and submitting the application, they ask why it was delayed? The gap between my wedding and submitting the documents is 8 months as I was gathering all the documents. Is this going to be a problem?

P.s: I was and I am still staying with my wife here while I was getting all the paperwork in order.

Others can also input, but I don't think it is going to be a problem. As along as you explain that the delay was caused by gathering the documents. So long as you have everything else in tact all the events, pictures and everything else, then you can explain the delay.

eight months shouldn't be an issue given that you were cohabiting with your wife during most of that time. do keep your passport stamps and boarding passes with you just in case they ask. you will them respond with the same explanation you gave us along with proof that you were actually there.

My application was filed 6 months after marriage..
And my husband lived only 2 weeks ..
