Hi Guys, looking for your advice for family sponsorship for my wife. My application was received in Mississauga Jan 26, 2016. Medical was completed upfront and submitted along with application ( Dec 12, 2015). I just received an email from CIC requesting Medical Examination. I emailed them to enquire if the Medical is required since it was already submitted along the application and still valid till 2016/12/18.

This was their response.

"Thank you for your message. This application appears ready to finalize pending receipt of favourable medical results. Please complete new medicals as it is highly unlikely that you will be able to land within the current validity of your medicals which is 2016/12/18."

Emailed IMO to get appointment for remedial

Im thinking In Sha Allah very close to getting Passport Request Any thoughts on my current situation?

Hey guys,

My meds expire Nov. 5 2016...who was it that got their meds extended? How did CIC inform them of the extension. My cic is sluggish today...says its in maintenance.
...visa officer...update us already.

My meds were extended but for like 6 days only..
And they never informed until the ppr day , they ask directly if i could land before the edtended date

How do you guys know that meds have been extended....ur landing date gets extended, is that how?

My medical also expiring on 11th nov. Would they ask for remedical yet bcuz they had already asked for add doc twice??

After getting Visa Within how many days or months we have to travel ?

you are able to travel till the day your medical expires. medical is valid for one year

The spreadsheet says Application received 4th april. that makes u an april applicant?
is that right?

Actually, it is the 1st of April they received it. When I first started using the forums and the April applicants, another group told me I am a March applicant. So I'm not even sure!

So you are an April applicant.Every thing starts from the day ur application is received by CPC.
Good hai they are working on March and April...

I am applying for my spouse sponsorship. As per latest 3907e.pdf (General Asia Guide) we do not need original nikkha nama both urdu and english. Is that true?

Submit on 7th and received back on 10th

Did they call you to collect passport? Was it in the first half of the day or the second half

Hellooooo everyone!

I ve been a a quiet reader of this forum and it helped me a lot in gathering all the documents. I am sponsoring my wife from Pakistan. I have sent her applicatiom yesterday and I guess its gonna take a month in Missisauga. Anyway, lets see what happens.
