Pls see below date wise visa officer replies against my emails for updated status of my file.

"Please be advised that we are currently waiting for the results of your routine background checks, once we have received your results we will be able to assist you further."

3-Aug-2016
"Please be advised that your file is currently undergoing routine background checks, we will be in touch if any additional information is required."

From 3-Aug-2016 email from visa officer, he clearly advised that my file was undergoing routine background checks at that time but in his most recent email dated 29-Sep-2016, he advised that my he is waiting for the results of my routine background checks.

What do you think from visa officer's latest email? Do you guys think that my background checks have been done and they are just waiting for results or still undergoing?

How come some members got their decision made already and your application is from 2014 but still not done? It's frustrating that they sent our application to London visa office which already seems to be dealing with backlog I didn't get AOR 2 yet. Not sure how much time it wil take No updates anywhere :'(

LVO doesn't send AOR2.

When receiving re-med request from CIC do they mention that it's re-med request?

One of my friends received an email from CIC and they attached form # IMM 1017E requesting to get the medical done within 30 days, although medical was done upfront on November 11th, 2015 and doesn't expire for another month or so.

How critical is it to get it done within 30 days, what if you can't get it done because of unavailability at IOM?

Please advise.

LVO doesn't send AOR2.

Does that mean that after SA, we will not receive any correspondence from LVO till the next 6 or more months until they send a doc request etc?
