It mean they are reviewing your Canadian sponsor to see if he/she is qualified to sponsor the applicant. If the sponsor is approved you will receive a Sponsorship approval letter stating your approval and which visa office your file will be transferred to for further processing. This approval usually takes 56-60 days from the day you applied. Hope this helps

hi all freinds i did remedical 22 agoust but still nothing how many months i should wait ppr my ecas showing process but my wife visited mp end of june she was told that my file is under rotine background check up almost three months have passed what is your expectations about getting ppr thanks

i believe they're using some kind of software which is sending emails to all the applicants whose medical is expiring in the next 2 months. They're only sending re-medical requests to jan and feb applicants nothing else. :/

My wife's application in Jan and her medical is expiring in October. No remedical request so far.

Please let me know that what would be the application fee which I need to pay for my wife & 3 months old daughter?
I am sure about below 1 & 2 but not about the 3rd:

1-Sponsor Application Fee CAD 75
2-Principal Applicant CAD 475
3-For A family member of the Principal Applicant who is under 19 years of age and is not spouse or common law partner or Bla Bla CAD 150

Will this have any impact on my processing time?
And why is this so?

I read somewhere on forum that we need to supply 9 passport sized photos but in the Pakistan specific guide it asks for only 2. What is required for the number of passport photos?

First of all no I don't think its gonna effect your case anyway.. But did you got any additional document request before SA?

No I didn't..
But my SA said my file gone to ottawa
Which is a misprint or something i know that

Well same happened to my friend (that misprinting thing) but you don't need to worry about the SA and its not goingto extend your case.. some people get their SA very soon and others get it late but now your file is in LVO so it's now a different story!
I hope this will help keeping you calm!
