Today it's been 16 days hoping for good waiting to hear soon about passport InshAllah

Same here. Hoping to recieve it soon inshaAllah. We are a family case but the timing for passport submission is more or less than the same. Do tell me when you recieve it because are passport submission dates are almost same.

Hi,

Need urgent feedback.

My re-medical was done on 12-May-2016. We were in contact with our MP and yesterday, MP office send an email to my wife as below.

" I spoke to immigration yesterday about your husband's application. I was told that the background security check is now in progress. That's good as it is the most time consuming process. Furthermore, the 'new' medical results will be valid until May-2017. And there is currently no outstanding document from the applicant. So it looks like he has to wait for the next instructions. if you do not have any news by mid October 2016, you may contact us for assistance. I trust this information is useful to you."

Need views on above email received from our MP. Do you think that it is a positive signal?
Does anyone has any ides about background security check, I mean what they check? How much estimated time they can further take?

As soon as BG/security checks are clear hopefully they can then finalize the file.
Email or Fax the visa office for update in 2 months time, and order GCMS notes by then too.
It seems going fine and no issues.

Hey first of all congratulaions for your ppr. Its been 18 days since we also submitted our passports and waiting to get it soon now inshaAllah. Since we are in the same boat please do tell me when you recieve it back we are a family case but passport submission timings should be same. Best of luck !

Any one ordered notes recently? or any news from MP?

We have contacted our MP and he told us that everything looks good they don't require anything from us. Everything is almost finalized now they will take the decision. Also if we don't hear from cic in two months we can contact them again.

I would be happy to guide new comers via this post on things how to settle in Canada as new immigrant few common things how to get driver license , what kind of job you should do as you land, and any misconception you have about Canada or any false fantasies you have . I have been in Canada for above 2 years now and take my words it is a rough ride but have faith in Allah.

Hi

It is very simple process if you have driver license in Pakistan the digital one make sure you have at least 3 years of driver experience on it check date issue and count three years experience. Once you will land in Canada send a copy of that to local Pakistan embassy who will take nominal fees and endorse its genuineness. Then you will take that piece of paper to MTO office who will book for knowledge test after clearing that you will straight entitle for G License this information is for if you are coming to Ontario.

Your Nikah Namma needs to be translated not necessarily from foreign office. Most important in that is you should have Nadra marriage certificate as well. Secondly its better to have educational documents endorsed by HEC in Pakistan go physically their its a one day process. If your documents are genuine.
