Anyone recently got passport back with visa stamped from Islamabad VFS? how long it took to get it back pls share your experience, I have submited on 13 May yet now news while tracking shows submited to canada visa office on 16th May.

i see lots of people getting asked for additional docs, so i finally decided to voluntarily submit more proof of relationship.

will it take them 30 days to add the proof to my file?

Hello everyone

Just an update!
I called CIC and they solved the issue for me.
My file was actually sent to London on May 16th!
WWWOOHOOOO!! Thanks to everyone who helped me out.
Any idea how long does the london step take? my female cousin two months, male cousin 5 months.
Also, I will be applying visit visa. What will help boost up the visit application for my husband?

umm, i applied for notes when my app was 4mo IP & i saw nothing but meds being cleared. like flx says, they dont really touch the file unless its bee like 6-6.5mo IP & then DM is ranging at 7-8mo avg...filed: 20 oct 2015, in process since 29 dec...
no docs request tho:-X :-\same! Flx2015, i dont think never have lived in PK wud be of any concern unless unke peich dheelay han. like who the hell cares!!! *insert Peter Griffin's voice*

concerns/comments:
1. so reading some comments here since i havent been on this forum for weeks, PP are submitted in person?
idk im getting confused some of u r saying how its a walk-in service or they dont accept mail wth, idk, pls clarify?
2. still no remeds request. id rather get PPR than DM tho...like oct 1 applicant. aint no one got time to waste on waiting another month to get an email for PPR. screw DM phase.

RSK saw that you were added to 2016 tab on the spreadsheet. Was it by mistake? You should be under 2015 no?

proof of ongoing communication and western union receipts. i just sent it to LVO as a case specific enquiry.

i don't know why it takes them 30 days just to add a document to my file. what if an officer picks up my file and starts reviewing before the additional docs are added to my file, and then he/she sends me a doc request for the stuff i've already sent? that will be such a mess...

Honestly, there has to be an easier way for all of this.
However, I'm grateful that it's a tedious 7-8 months instead of horrendous 47 months.

It doesn't take them 30 days to add the documents to your file, I sent a document which were added very next day to my file (though i never got reply from them) i found out on GCMS notes.

yeah i'd say go ahead and send it; there's no harm in it. by doing so, you're decreasing the chances of them sending a doc request, which could mean getting a DM/PPR 30 days earlier.

Slaam to All members i am feb 2015 applicant husband , LVO i applied from UAE but case was transferred to LVO. they putted me in interview que. in feb 2016 i sent proof of our ongoing relationship voluntarily as we were living together since i applied. i received email 3 days ago that on the basis of documents provided the interview is not required any more. they gave intructions for remedical police certificate and RPRF fees.

I resigned from my job before i received this email going back to Pakistan now my question i want to get my visa processing from islamabad VO shall i change my address online and send them a note with these documents? it will effect the processing time?

i have question

My spouse is in USA and i am sponsoring her in Canada

I just received info that for PCC from Pakistan, Applicant should be present in Pakistan.
If this is true then anybody who sponsored her/his spouse while he/she is out of Pakistan, what are you doing for PCC ?
