It looks LVO is slow again.
Did they ask you for any document/picture since you applied?

To update your timeline on left you have to have at-least 10 posts.

Oh really, Yes I got additional document request on January-11th. I did not send Original Urdu Nikah Nama I just sent the marriage Certificate issued by Nadra so they asked me to send in the Urdu Nikah nama and also to pay the Right of permanent residence fee of $490 which i paid and sent in.

That's good sign that they asked for fees. It means very soon you will see your ecas status changed to "Decision Made"

If you have paid this fees in advance and submitted urdu nikkah nama with your application you should have received passport request by now.

Has anyone who has recently been issued visa received their original documents back?

We got our visa on 5th nov and has already been landed in Canada and didn't receive original docs back. We sent case specific inquiry to LVO 35 days ago but didn't receive any response from them.

You can't get documents equivalence can't continue study, original nikkah nama, marriage certificate, birth certificate all are with LVO and don't know what to do to get them back :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[.

Always keep your information up-to-date with CIC. Just write an email, and let them know your current address, if your file is with your corresponding visa office, if you have just sent your file to CPC-M, then you better wait for corresponding from them; again if you have given the email information for correspondence, then its ok to wait for visa office confirmation, otherwise better inform CPC-M for your current address, because lets say you didn't give email address, and there is a big mistake with your application and CPC-M wants to send it back to you for correction, then in that case they will simply send your complete package to the address provided in the form, and that's how you might loose your package. So its better let know the CPC-M your current address.

You better get help from your local MP. They might get your docs back from CIC.

Guys I require an interpreter for my interview which is next month , what to do ? how to tell cic about this ? send them e-mail ? cal them ? or what is the procedure to do this ? Pls help me, our consultant is good for nothing .. She is saying when you will confirms interview date time then indicate that u require an interpreter, but i already confirm date & time without indicating it . now what ??

My interview was in Nov.... They provide interpreter.. In islamabad nobody else can go inside except u.

They will provide u interpreter if u mention that in form... U dnt hav to do anything jus relax.

She got no email notification no SMS notification. I hope Inshallah by next week she'll get her passport.

The same happened with my wife. They recorded our mobile numbers into their system incorrectly and they were trying to blame me (sponsor) for incorrect mobile number which was a lie.
