You can travel from any country there will be no problem but as long as you enter Canada before the expiry of your Visa.

Does passport has to be valid for at-least 6 months when you land in Canada as immigrant?

There is no such restriction for Canadian passport.

Also no response from LVO nothing. NO PPR .

I don't know maybe its a system error or not I not really sure.

Did you got any response from LVO?

Your timeline says that you already have your SA which means that the Sponsorship status should have been Decision Made already. Maybe it just slipped their mind to change that. And it is very possible that your DM on the PR Application is already made. LVO is working in top speed right now!! This must be yet another record for them!

wow, that is superfast processing for myakf. Best of luck buddy, do keep us posted when you get your PPR. I'm a sept applicant and still waiting for DM.

Mercy, do you think it would be easy for you to add an average row in the timeline spreadsheet at the top. Would be convenient for us to figure where we stand.

Hi all,

Is it only me or everyone has noticed the change in processing times and how they are displayed online on CIC website.

Now they no longer show spousal sponsorship processing times per VO. They only show inside or outside Canada

No idea why would they do that.

Just now they have done this .for spouse living outside Canada ,its written 18 months time, means they are showing for all countries ?means islamabad visa office , london visa office , UAE etc all will take 18 months now ?? then what about my case ? I am waiting for 31 months still no decision made , no PPR.CIC will return my 13 months ?

Even if already done so, call them again and let them know that according to their new timelines, you are 13 months late. They might do something then.

its been about 45days since DM, everything done pasport received like about 15 days ago but still havent received the original documents back. Anyone else in same situation ? what to do plz suggest..

Hi, you should call them or inquire through MP. It will work for sure , don't just wait . Email them and in subject write URGENT , hopefully it'll speed up your case

The funny thing is that they accepted the submission from the authorized person but stated that unless the husband or wife or someone closer would be able to retrieve the passport.
