Hi Everyone,

My ECAS is showing Decision Made since this Morning. I just want to add that I was waiting for an Interview call for my wife as I found out from the case notes. I did submit them more information back in September and when I enquired about the receipt of my documents they (LVO) replied after 35 days and confirmed the receipt of the documents and also mentioned that based on the submitted information they can waive the interview. I am hoping that this "Decision Made" status means that the have waived the interview.

MASHA ALLAH. That is wonderful to hear. That means sending more information on time can help someone waive the interview. Yes INSHA ALLAH you will receive PPR soon.

Thanks Suleman for your kind words . How do they send PPR i.e. Is it through email to PA or a physical mail? Also, how long do they give to submit the passport?

I've been taking that flight almost 3 times a year since 2013. I don't find anything wrong with it. Its not Etihad or Turkish Airline and one should not expect that kind of quality service. Just take your own travel pillow and a small blanket, because they will almost always never give you any of those, and one has to sleep through the 14 hours!!

Add some personal pictures selfies etc. Label all the photos with (date, event picture got taken, people in the picture) print labels in word and stick them at the back. Honey moon + your sponsor's visit to Pakistan details like hotel receipts, tickets, restaurant receipts and gifts bought etc. IMM5490E is a very vital form and it helps you to avoid interview, put as much details you can attach separate sheets.

Ok, I was not patient enough to wait that long that is why paid a bit extra to get them here as soon as possible It is costing me around $1290 one way trip from Karachi Doha Montreal Calgary on 25th December.

That is excellent news, Falcon! I'm very sure the Decision will be a positive one. And this should be an example for all applicants that are waiting for interview. They should send more information so that their interviews are waived. Congrats and have a happily ever after!! ;D

I am having the same problem.
If I had the chance to do it over again, I would have sent them ONLY certified copies of my spouse's documents.
But instead I did everything by the book. You learn from other people's experiences, unfortunately I learned after going thru the process.
I really thought CIC would be more responsible in handling of applicant's original documents.

Oh God! I just have no idea what to do now. :S

Same is the case with us. My husband landed last week. we got our CORP in start of nov. But no news about original docs. we are really worried. Can you please share the email address of LOV so that we can ask them.

Try your local MP to see if they can help get the originals back.
Send request for documents to CPC-M, a lot of times they end up sending back some docs to applicants compared to Visa office.
Also send inquiry to Visa office for originals.

Please check thoroughly email of applicant all folders even junk also from the whole month of December. May be you have missed the email, it is also possible you might get this week. Don't take any action now wait atleast for a week.
