Try to divide this files in three or four sections and send them separately such as one bundle of Skype, one bundle of PHotos, One bundle of bills etc.

i sent the passport on Nov 13, 2015. Please can anyone tell me why is Islamabad taking a long time. Why are they so slow. Did anyone got visa this month? how long does it take for Islamabad to give the visa?

Has anyone with ppr who has submitted their passport around Nov. 11 gotten their passport back with visa yet?are they taking a long time to process passports with the visa in Islamabad these days....pls if anyone knows pls respond thank you.

- medical request: Oct. 8 2015
- meds done: Oct. 19, 2015
- ppr Nov. 9, 2015
-pp submitted Nov. 11

Now we are waiting for the passport back with visa in it! They told us 2 weeks.

I submitted my wife PP at 29th October but did not yet come back. still waiting for...The VFS says two weeks but it actually take much more then that...Hope it come soon. good luck for you...

It is upto you, however, you have to land in Canada before expiration of COPR.

I don't see your Canadian status, r u PR or Canadian Citizen? if you r PR, you can not be out of Canada for more than 2-3 weeks. If CIC find outs that you are not in Canada being PR your sponsorship case will definitely be close.

That happens to be an interesting news to me. I am quite certain, couple of my cousins (who were in mid of sponsoring process) stayed quite longer than 2-3 weeks. But, they are Canadian Citizens (they have a Canadian passport, ID card and can caste a vote) and not PR. So, I don't really know what rules apply to them in case of living with principal applicant outside Canada.

That happens to be an interesting news to me. I am quite certain, couple of my cousins (who were in mid of sponsoring process) stayed quite longer than 2-3 weeks. I am also a Canadian citizen, living exclusively with wife and a son, they can't live with anyone else, so I had to be with the family. Therefore I applied as outland. Canadian citizens can apply sponsorship application living outside Canada.

One of my friends brother got refused to sponsor his wife. He was living with his family outside Canada being a PR, and that's how he was told the he is not residing in Canada while his sponsorship application is in process. Hence his case was rejected..
