Hi All,

I have a question regarding spouse visa filing after visa issued for entry for first entry. What are the ways to apply for spouse visa before landing for the first time? is it possible?
If its not possible then If I go for short landing and come back and get married after getting PR at Canada address then can I apply for spouse visa after that while remaining outside Canada?
Is it necessary to be in Canada for spouse visa ?

Where should it say if I am in interview que or not?

Goto the last heading of Notes and read all the texts thoroughly. It might say about interview their, if not it might also say about any discrepancy found in your relationship and wants to send your file for additional review or something, these are the words sometimes which may result in interview.

You can not apply before landing first time.

You have to be in Canada for spousal application, though you can have short visits(2-4 weeks) which are good for processing spousal application.

Hi esma im dec2014 applicant, my wife has received back orig doc on 10 th sep bt i did not got any correspondence from cic. upon my inquiry they replied ur file is in que to be review now see when they open file..

anyone know how long will it take .....return passport from Islamabad Canadian embassy

You'll get it in week most probably they will say 1-2weeks to you. I got mine back in 4 days Allhumdulllilah.

Salam everyone. I will be going to canada on 9th in sha Allah bt my husband/ sponsor is in australia and he will be coming to canada in december. Would the immigration officer ask me about my husband that where is he right nw ? Is it compulsory for my husband to be present in canada while i land or is it fine if he comes back later ??

You can land even your husband is not in Canada. If they ask you can explain to them why your husband is out of country. Good luck

He can land in any city that doesn't really matter.

We just wanted to make sure so that he must not face any issue at airport because of not landing in the province from where i sponsored him. I am calling CIC Miss to make sure but every time i get response that due to heavy calls load my call can not be transfer to any agent. Can someone plz provide me with some source to confirm about this issue. thanks in advance
