Yea they requested nikah nama on oct 13 and they recieved it on oct 19. Since then no answer came. What documents have they requested you. Please allah give us our visas fast (ameen)

Does any1 know what document vfs give you when you submit your passport at thier location. My wife got only 1 paper that has information similar to landing paper but there seems to be no reciept or reference number. There is only document number that is different the other number such as file number and uci. Are we suppose to get something else from them? Been 5 months since pp submission.

Do u mean to say u got ppr within 5mnths? Wen did u apply n wen did u receive ppr?

Here is my timeline.

My wife is Canadian Permanent Resident.
Application received in Mississauga: 21-March-2014
After sponsor ship approval, file transfer to LVO directly: 26-April-2014
I didn't do upfront medical.
Received Medical request: 11-Feb-2015
Status changed to "in-process": 13-Feb-2015
Medical done: 24-Feb-2015
Status update "Medical results received": 7-Mar-2015
LVO start working on our file: May-2014
Request for re-submission of few forms: 2-May-2015
Send updated forms via email: 9-May-2015
Send updated forms via courier: 9-May-2015
Forms received by LVO as per tracking: 12-May-2015
Thru MP we came to know that our file is under "Background Check"
Order NOTE: 11-Oct-2015 (waiting for feedback)

LVO asked my husband for english translation of nikkah nama. He has already sent it. How long LVO takes to respond after?
Everything was going smoothly and now we have to wait again. Anyone knows?

yes all is ok dnt wri add dcmt req you have to send what thay ask and there is good news for u soon inshallah and did u receive email today from lvo? when your file come to ip on ecas

Today we received PPR and instructions on submitting passport!

I also heard from our lawyer this morning that my partners original documents came to his office. He seemed rather surprised they came to him. So happy!!!!

File went into process on Aug 27th. My husband's medical was expired. They asked for the re-medical and that was done too and the next day of re-medical they asked for these documents. Everything is done. Now waiting for their response. They test our patience
I dont know how long they will take for decision. I was asking for an estimated time they can take from now on?
