Actually no , it never went to court, all things settled between families outside of coUrt. That's why deed of divorce written on Pakistani stamped paper, and submit to UC and UC issued divorce certificate
We are just going to write explanation of this to CIC . Is this ok? We never went to court so don't have a court documents

I think Explanation Letter will not be good enough. Writing Explanation will delay your processing and may raise Questions in VO's mind that why are you not sending Actually Legal Papers of His Divorce , you supposed to sent something beside UC issued Certificate, it's very important Document. I'm surprise why did not you sent that with your Package.

I believe thr intentions are to get Legal Papers not just UC issued Certificate or explanation letter. whatever the Settlement was you supposed to Register it in court as well ...

Alhumdulillah my wife received her passport with COPR and visa stamped on her passport.

Actually we are getting a lawyer in Pakistan to write a letter/statement telling the legal procedure and giving explanation of how it didn't need court appearance and divorce deed submitted to UC and UC review and issued divorce certificate (which is what we submitted to CIC)
And then our immigration lawyer in Canada will also write similar statement describing what happens and how UC is final issue and we didn't go to court for this.

Why would this cause delay? If we don't have the court document we can't just generate it now ? As UC is final issuing authority in Pakistan and we have this document. Does CIC not believe that the divorce is finalized or not legal ?
Please advise us to what we should do or how to get this court document in Pakistan that you are referring to

Today I line was added to my husbands ecas stating that the medical results have been received. He got decision made on 10th October. How come they made the decision without receiving the medical results. I am so scared right now. Until now I thought the case was normal, Now I am having second thoughts. Please suggest if this is okay or not.
