Thank you Chitah, I will then go to our MP after Tuesday as they update mostly Tuesdays. Also I will request the notes. I am Citizen and a taxpayer since Migrated 18 years ago. I provided eveything required dont understand this delay as they have even issued visas to 2015 applicants.

And because of the upcoming elections, I feel positive that September will be a productive month and insha'allah we will see much more DMs.

I do feel the same way and I have mentioned in some of my previous posts that LVO may open "the floodgates of DMs in next couple of weeks.

I have noticed that in the elections year CIC and politicians become proactive. It had happened to me way back in 2004 and it was an election year too. I applied for my citizenship in August 2003 and in those days citizenship applications used to take atleast one year for processing. But just after eight months, I received a letter for my citizenship test in April 2004. Since I was out of Canada I contacted CIC to delay my test and give a new date atleast after three months. But, to my surprize they again sent me a letter for a test with a new date just after one month. So, I came back to Canada took the test and after 20 days I had my oath.

What I mean to say is currently the politicians (ex MPs and would be's) must be under immense pressure from the immigrants for their cases and they need to win the elections, so must be approaching CIC to expedite the cases. Some of my friends in Canada are also telling me that now the cases are being processed in much faster speed. So, lets hope for the best in coming weeks.

Because the CIC Department Head needs to answer to Minister of the Immigration.
Government institutions need to answer to the portfolio minister. It is through dialogue and political will that will set the policy.
Canada is a nation of immigrants. You can't totally ignore them.

On top of that Canada has genuine Democracy, where the Parliament is Supreme, Institutions / Govt are accountable to the "People's Parliament" and people truly have power.

hey mercy if DM is made and no re med was requested or additional docs prior to DM, does it mean pretty much that its approved and applicant shuld wait for PPR?

Is that mailed to the representing lawyer or to the applicant?

You will need to wait for them to send a PPR to the applicant.

The fact that a person got a DM and they didn't have to go thru an interview, it's a 99.9% chance its a positive sign.
PPR is sent to an applicant.
With respect to the lawyer, I don't know -- I didn't use one but I would guess that it will still come to the applicant.

thanks mercy for clarification, i was so nervous since i saw DM message and no comments, keeping my fingers crossed for portal update on tuesday

We both are on the same boat, I'm April-2014 applicant. You can see my timeline.

I don't know what they are doing with our files. Mercey advised me to send case specific inquiry to LVO and I did same and still waiting for their feedback. Today is 28th day, lets hope they will get back to me with good news InshahAllah. God knows..!!!

I know that December-2014 and January-2015 applicants are getting visas MashaAllah. I'll pray for you. Pls keep in-touch and pray for me as well.
