Although cover letter is not necessary, but it does make a good impression. Make it simple with a single para but make sure to enclose list of documents and forms etc. The letter has to be signed by sponsor as he / she is responsible for sending the application.

Salam everyone we got my husband ppr Alhamdullilah
But were should i send passport for visa stamp ? On what adress he is in karachi
Help me out please i need to do this as soon as possible .

You can bring your package of requested documents to the Visa Application Center.
You should have received instructions from the PPR email.
VAC will send the package to the Islamabad VO.

I already did a mistake and sent passport by tcs to islamabad markaz adress :-( do pray i will get passport back

Just checked my ECAS and it says "Decision made"
Alhumdulillah!!

it took just one day from "In Process" to "Decision Made"

My status change from application recived to DECISION MADE on 12 August but still no ppr on ther hand my cousin got his ppr last week on 11 August we both apply same day for family visa and we both have same timeline! Inshallah hopefully this monday Ager meri ALLAH SWT ne chaha tu I got my ppr Ameen

Hi Everyone,

My application (for wife sponsorship) was received by Mississauga office on june 4th 2015 and on july 10th 2015, I received an email mentioning my UCI number and application number.

The email doesnt say, if I am approved as a sponsor. If I check my online status I see only the following lines under my status

1. We received your application to sponsor <WIFEs NAME> on June 4, 2015.
2. We started processing your application on July 9, 2015.

the time line on their website is 57 days and my case has taken 70 days. Any insight on whats happening with my case right now? because the people I know, who have previously applied receives an email that clearly mentions "They are approved as sponsors and their file is sent to london".

In my case it doesnt say If I am approved or my file is sent to london office.

I will appreciate your input and thank you very much in advance

That's an AOR. Acknowledgement of Receipt.
You will receive another email in a week or two for sponsor approval.
