I know I have checked with several major airlines they allow from 28 to 32 months with a doctor's written permission. Some allow till 36 with that letter, and there are exceptions (like emirates) allow after 36th month too with a review by their own medical board. I know it will be hard and depends when the process is complete I am just preparing for every scenario which could occur in advance.

you can have a doctor's note indicating 7 weeks. However, if she is landing in Ontario, she won't have coverage until 3 months from her landing date. the cost is around $3k for delivery.

Hi A Quick Question Please.

I didn't do an Upfront Medical Exam, and have now been asked in SA Approval email to do it and submit directly to London Visa Office.

Does anyone know their mailing address? Is this the one?

I want to know if anyone else is on the same boat I am for spousal sponsorship from Pakistan (Peshawar) to Canada (Milton), my timeline so far is:

Sponsorship:

We received your application to sponsor **** on May 29, 2014.

We sent you correspondence on July 21, 2014 about the decision on your application.

Permanent Residence:

We received **** application for permanent residence on May 29, 2014.

We started processing **** application on April 8, 2015.

Medical results have been received. (June 2015).

Anyone that applied around the same time as me and got the immigration already or waiting let me know what is next please.

no one can tell you how long it will take for next steps except for LVO. At least in your case they have been updating your ECAS. Just a heads up, some are waiting for two months since their re-med and still haven't heard a word.

Really??? huh that is quite weird because I was thinking they are going group by group. Like Jan 2014 applicants are being issued visas now, and Feb 2014 applicants will get there's soon and on and on.

Well I hope everyone waiting gets their VISA soon along with me Inshallah

I asked my MP to inquire about my case @ the end of January & LVO said it can take anywhere between 11-36 months. WTF how the hell did they figure out such an accurate estimation.
& in February thay asked for re medical & English translation & nothing since. Just ordered notes also & apparently they haven't worked on my file since just after they received my. Englis Nikah Nama & it's showing in progress & no criminality or security has even started yet. Just the eligibility "recommend pass" that's all.
I think I should buy them a Starbucks with 6 espresso shots in it. Morons.

What happen if my pregnant wife comes in Canada in its 8th Month of pregnancy, I know I have to get her Provincial health card as the very first thing. and after that doctors and delivery will be on that card. I have one more question as would there be any repercussions of not having employee benefits on delivery.? as I am on a contract and I personally bought benefits plan from "alberta blue cross". ?

Sulieman..I also did reme on june 1st week...after that no news and status is same ....what's ur situation and expectation

I sponsored my wife in July 2014 her remedical was done on 12 may 2015. Since then its a pin drop silence. Usually it takes 2-3 months after remedical to make a decision. Thr is nothing we can do except waiting. Just praying that the decision comes before eid.

Ameen! Congrats! My husband picked up his visa from VAC today! It was 11 days for us as well. Alhumdulilah - can't believe this has finally ended
