Alhamdulillah,

My wife received the re-medical request from Delhi Immigrations. They asking to book the appointment within 7 days in your territory.

Finally things start moving well for us. And i'll send the requested form by the end of this week.

Good news for you. Would you mind sharing your timeline?

I also have same status " application received" with more or less same timeframe as yours.
Was it Nikah only or complete rukhsati case?
Didn't you do the medical upfront or what?

Hey Its a full Rukhsti case for wife . And meds were done upfront they expire in July 2015. Buy got asked for re med in May again

So sick of seeing .
E-Cas status as "Application Recieved" . Such a depressing moment !!! :-\

I would not rely on ECAS so much. Many VO's are late to update it and unfortunately, it does not give much info on your case status.

Here are some realistic expectations:
1) When you start to see somebody (or cluster of people) behind you get a DM, that's when you can raise your expectation.
2) Keep in mind LVO are normally completing cases within 12 months if no complications from sponsor approval date
3) There are others that have had to wait 2 or 3 years to be re-united with their spouse because of the inefficiency of Islamabad CHC and some of the these cases are still pending resolution at LVO/IVO! So keep this in mind before ranting about lack of progress. (Unfortunately, some people do not give this fact the slightest thought.)

So just relax a little bit.
Your time will come soon enough, insha'allah.

wow. That is fast, MASHA ALLAH who can predict they will start working on Nov files. While they didn't even touched Sept & Oct and some Aug transferred files.

There are Sept and Oct transferred files that have had re-med requests also.
Keep in mind not all individuals have posted status changes or updated me on their status change.

I am writing with regards to my Spousal Application, which has been forwarded to London – High Commision of Canada (Visa Section).

I had received an email from CIC confirming this transfer, in that same email I was also told that should I need to submit additional information or make any further enquiries regarding the Application for Permanent Residence for my husband I may contact the visa office by e-mail, fax, or in writing. Below this statement I was given the mailing address and the fax; however, in the space where it was to list the email address it was left blank. I am not sure why this was the case as I do need this email in order to update my information.

Can someone kindly forward me the email address or show me a way to contact LVO so I can update the changes in my personal circumstances.

Here is my timeline and what should I expect next:

Received a Letter from LOV on March 15, 2015
Checked the Status Online on June 14, 2015 - Application in Process and Medical Received

Seems like you are one of the lucky ones whose application is starting alredy. I am Dec 4 applicant and my status is still application received. As Mercy24 said it could take 1-3 yrs I'm just hoping I'm not one of the rare 3 yr long case.

Ma Sha Allah, I can only thank Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. I am extremely nervous though, hence I pray to Allah that the rest of the process is steadfast as well, In Sha Allah.

Oh I didn't read the last part : . The notes in the end says this:


Notes 1: Docs returned to PA updated 2015/05/20

Notes 2: Med re assessment request to Delhi 2015/05/20

Notes 3: Medical extention please Note that PA is pregnant and meds have expired. If unable to extend meds without Xray , the couple will have to wait until the child is born and add the child to application.

Notes 4: Document, history, application reviewed. I note that the urdu Nikkah and translation both indicated PA's age at time of marriage as 22. Registration certificate has correct age, Marriage was registered within 15 days of ceremony , both were present for marraige. Appears well-attended and that meets cultural and traditional norms. Photos document couple through years, includes photo clearly taken at the start of their friendship (age progression is noticable). Am satisfied this is a BF relationship, valid marriage. Conditions Apply. Am satisfied of intent of reside in CDA. Note that PA is Note that PA is pregnant and meds have expired. If unable to extend meds without Xray , the couple will have to wait until the child is born and add the child to application.

Note 5: (is a long detailed paragraph of mine and wife's story and mentions about all of the evidences we presented, like chats etc but mentions that they are unreadable as they are in urdu, ). he is satisfied with marriage and honeymoon arrangements but remain skeptical about marriage being a love marriage.. he states " It is unusual in Pakistan's culture that this is a love marriage but it is noted that they indicate that the match was agreed with both sets of parents ". He complimented my photos from my university time and complimented money transfers, gifts and wedding invitations.

Congratulations! I have the following note under eligibility -

Conditions apply Province of destination is Quebec, CSQ not received yet, however as sponsor has opted to continue if found ineligible, we can commence processing, prior to receipt of CSQ. PA is a 25 year old female,

Pakistani citizen married to a 26 year old permanent resident. Sponsor is also a Pakistani citizen, he landed in MAR13 as a skilled worker. Marriage took place in Pakistan in DEC13, proof seem, first marriage for both. PA advises that she and sponsor were put in contact by a friend of hers, this friend Is sponsor's sister. PA indicates

that she and sponsor first made contact via phone on 15MAR09 and that they first met in person in Pakistan on 25MAR09. PA states on spouse I partner questionnaire that she and sponsor dated for over four years, indicates that they went out for dinners, movies, carnivals and long walks. Sponsor states in an accompanying letter to

sponsor questionnaire, that he and sponsor have the same taste in rock and roll music and that he "cannot wait

to take my wife out to the concerts in North America" PA indicates that marriage not arranged, advises that their

respective parents, siblings and other close relatives attended wedding. PA indicates that Valima was held the

same day as the Nikah Nama on 25DEC13 and that she and sponsor co-habited from 25DEC13 until 31 DEC13,

this included traveling to Murree, the popular honeymoon destination, states they traveled there on 27DEC13 and that they stayed for one night in a motel and returned to Islamabad on 28DEC13, photos of this trip provided. PA advises that sponsor had to return to Canada a week after wedding, as he had a limited number of days that he could take off work, PA and sponsor appear at ease in wedding photos and in other photos,

I have entered review required under eligibility. DEPENDANTS: SBJ HAS NOT IDENTIFIED ANY QUALIFYING DEPENDANTS FOR EXAMINATION. NOTE: SHOULD ADDITIONAL DEPENDANTS BE SPONSORED AT A LATER

No adverse FOSS - sponsor. Clean PC/Pakistan, 27FEB14. *** At this stage have not requested that PA provide copy of CSQ


So yeah looks as if he started to review eligibility, stopped in the middle because he wasnt in the mood and just wrote review required before putting the file away. :/

Yes. You can go I think, there is no harm in going to Pakistan, also what was the reason they put for refusal.? and what was your reason for filling appeal.? coz as far as I know for TRV they don't give chance for appeal (in normal refusals). and ask to re apply when "situation changes ".
