Salam all,

I am applicant of Oct 2012. AOR received April 2013 and my file was transferred to LVO on June 1st 2014
Today I receive an email in which they are asking following documents

· Original Police Clearance Certificate for my Son from all the districts where he has resided longer than 6 months since the age of 18 years.
· Copy of Mr. Hasnain Akhtar's (Sponsor) T4 slip and notice of Assessment for the year 2014.
· Copy of complete pages of current Pakistani & Canadian passport for Mr. Hasnain Akhtar.
· Copy of a Letter from Mr. Hasnain's (sponsor) employer mentioning employment details.

They did'nt ask any thing about my wife and childrens under age 15. Can any body know what does it mean.

Please give me some idea

One question! In email they ask to write the initials of this email to avoid any delay. In initial its written LJF. What does LJF means is this visa officer name or any dept?
Does any one know about that?

It's probably some administrative/processing clerk.
Reply to the email and submit whatever is requested.

looks like they want to confirm your financial ability to support your family in canada provide them what ever they ask and dont send any thing which they dont ask inshallah every thing will be fine

I like to ask a question ... i have given my interview on Jan 26,2015 and the interviewer passed my interview also...after round about 2 months later on March 28, 2015 the VOL send me mail to pay the RPRF (ask your sponsor to pay in canada). she have paid it on the next day. nw kindly tell me

How much time will it take for asking me for passport

You are pretty much closer to the finish line. Expect to hear good news within a month.

Hi seniors i have one question plz
what will happen next after LVO request additional documents??
My timeline is
File transfer LVO 19aug14
Additional documents request 5 March 15
Documents send LVO 10 April 15

If you medical is about to expire then the VO will either extend it for another 12 months or call for re-medical. Seems you are near to close, you will hear good news pretty soon.

Basically they want to see the legality of the marital relationship. So, expect the normal questions, just go through with the copies of forms you provided to CIC for all the possible answers. Infact, they will ask you about things whatever you have mentioned in the forms.

Salaam .

Similar situation happened with my husband.. IMO islamabad submitted his re-medical to LVO with a different IME number then the one LVO provided on the form.

To make things clear.. E-mail IOM & tell them what LVO said & ask them where the results stand. If they have submitted them ask for the IME numbers & the e-medical sheets which provide all of the info. of the applicant & that they've performed the medical. Then e-mail LVO providing them with the IME numbers IOM submitted the medicals with & attach the e-medical's.

This is how we solved our problem & LVO replied back saying they can confirm that they've recieved the results & they'll contact us in the coming weeks. My husband recieved his PPR about 3-4 weeks after.

Thank you so very much for your kind insight.

I have contacted IOM and they have provided me with the snapshot of medical upload. My family was also provided with the e-medical sheets but they were not informed by the physician that they need to post them by regular mail as well. I have been told by my family that they specifically asked from the physician that whether or not they need to submit the e-medical information sheet. But "kharoos" doctor said that its not his headache and he know nothing about it. His responsibility is to conduct the test and furnish the reports to relevant authorities.

Any way, the e-medical information sheet with all correspondence copies is already been couriered to LVO and waiting for its delivery before I send the soft copies of the same to ask for acknowledgment.

May Allah SWT help us all and protect from the educated "jahils" at all walks of life.

I am a July transfer and have yet to hear anything from LVO. We are also a Nikkah only case but our wedding and valima took place in early March and I sent all the proof (pictures and receipts) also. I keep hearing of August transfers receiving correspondence so just wanted to know what's going on.

Bro I haven't received anything too. Although I am a Aug 12 transfer. I would say order notes to get a clear picture what have happened till now with your file, is your updates attached to the file and other details. That will really help.

Please see below for processing times:

The processing time is calculated from the date the complete application for sponsorship was received at the Case Processing Center (CPC) in Mississauga to the date the final decision was entered by the Visa Office. The posted processing times are based on the time required to process 80% of the cases over a period of 12 months and are updated quarterly. Therefore, they are historical processing times. They reflect the average processing time for the files that were finalized during the period of reference, but, at times, they don't always accurately reflect the expected processing time for files that are entering processing.

In February 2014, the Family Class caseload from Islamabad was transferred to London. At the time of transfer, the processing time in Islamabad was 32 months. The files from this large inventory received from Islamabad formed the large majority of cases processed by London in 2014. Accordingly, as these much older files were finalized in London, the time elapsed since the applications were initially submitted had a major impact on the calculation of the London processing times, even though they had been in London only for a few months.

To give you a better sense of the expected processing time for new Family Class applications received in London, we are currently putting into active processing the applications where the date received in CPC-Mississauga is between May 1st and July 31st, 2014.

Asalam-o-Alaikum Folks,

I am sponsoring my Wife who is living in Karachi.

On April 23, CIC updated online status to 'Decision made' and stated that they will contact my Wife with decision.

- I am the sponsor/representative for my Wife.
- Online mailing address shown is my Canadian mailing address.
- I received my Wife's original documents.
- Previously, for things such as re-medical request, CIC emailed my Wife.

Can anybody help me understand when and how (e.g. email/mail/courier/call) we will get to know about our decision+passport request?

Also, if the passport request/decision is coming via mail/courier, who will be getting it? My Wife or myself?
