Hello everyone, hope everyone is doing great.

So today my wife's PR Application status changed to desicion made!!! Directly from Application received to desicion made. It never changed to "in process". I hope this is a good sign Inshallah!!. But when i click on the desicion made link it does say "we started processing your application on April 16, 2015. Is that normal? Anyone knows how long after this should I expect PPR?

Here is my timeline once again:

It seems that you just sent application in. This means they made a decision if you were approved to be able to sponsor your spouse. You must wait awhile longer and I know its hard but getting all excited like this will let you down hard. Check the waiting time and read other posts, all this will help in the wait In Sha Allah...............

Several July cases here who have not been asked to provide further proof and/or documentation are still waiting for feedback, so it might not be the pregnancy. The sequence of movement from LVO is completely random which is really frustrating. :/

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Folks,

is the passport request always done via courier mail or the request comes as e-mail?

Depends which means of correspondance you have selected while filling up forms. Majority are getting it in emails now a days but that too because they have selected email

You are right. My file was transferred on 30 July and i have heard nothing from LVO. My medical has expired as well during last week. No additional docs request, no remed request, no "in process" status.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

got the following depressing reply from LVO regarding my question, of my wife's pregnancy, her medical and when would our case be finalized.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please note that the treating physician will advise our medical section of your wife’s pregnancy when she goes in for her medical.

Please be advised that when born, your child may be eligible for Canadian citizenship and note your child will need a facilitation visa if a Canadian passport is not obtained prior to date of travel.

Also note that current processing times are approximatley 29 months from the lock-in date. The lock-in date for your application is June 18th 2014, therefore it is unlikely your application will be finalised before September 2015.

Sincerely,

SF (GS)

Don't know how the baby can become citizen, if I am a PR. Can anyone give a summary of what he really meant..??

In short, If a child is born in Canada, he is automatically granted citizenship regardless of the parents status. This is done usually for giving extra rope to social services to do their job i.e protect children rights within Canada.

No my wife is in Pakistan and is highly probable that my child will be born in Pakistan..!! then how can he get the citizenship.

Also i would treat what they say about 29 months with a grain of salt. They use the website time as a reference to give that reply to applicants and MPs without taking into account the circumstances which led to that time being calculated for their website (i.e backlog of Islamabad getting transferred to London)

In that case i think they will issue a visa. They state that the baby MAY be eligible for Citizenship and that would be only in the case of delivery within Canada.
