How long does it usually take for VAC to get the passports back from CHC-I ?

I had deleted all my junk emails earlier this month but then one applicant found remed request in his junk mail folder. So I was worried that I might have deleted email from LVO by mistake. So two weeks ago I sent an email to LVO that by mistake, I deleted my mails and I am not sure whether I have received any email from them or not. On Friday, I received a reply from LVO that they haven't sent any correspondence to me so far. They also told me voluntarily that they received extra documents from me earlier this month and they have attached them to my file. Further they told me that my file is awaiting officer review. So this means they still haven't touched my file which is a bit disheartening considering the fact that they have started communicating with September transfers.

Actually that means they have touched your file. Because if it's waiting for officer review it means that your case has already been through INITIAL review.

Maybe some September cases are going through initial review it was found they were mising stuff and therefore requested documents. But maybe your file was up-to-date and that's why they haven't communicated with you so far. Like you said your medical hasn't expired yet either.

We sent my wifes CSQ to london upfront. My lawyer noticed that we had not paid the right of permanent residence fee, which we are also sending with the csq to London. For the moment, it seems as if they did not notice this anomaly. I really hope this does not delay the file further. :/

It would cause a delay for issuing COPR, so at this point I don't think this alone has caused the delay.
Is the re-med done. If so, what date?

But if this is a problem i would expect them to communicate this. Havent heard anything to this effect yet.

its so desperating today i get email from london visa office they never received my orginal police certificate but i send then on febrary 10 and tcs status is saying delivered and assign by adam they gave 30 more days to provide i dnt know what to do where my orignal documents gone any body know the answer reply me

No news yet brother I'm aug tranfer did my re med on 5 march no news yet.. Donno what they r doing with files my PC is also expired i asked lawyer he said to wait. Donno what to do or what to expect .. Just checking status daily still says application received.. Let's hope n pray everything goes smooth and fast. Amen!!

Dear Member!

My wife is going to IOM Lahore office tomorrow for medical re-assessment. I have few questions regarding this:
1) Do you get confirmation at the end of the exam, I understand IOM will send results to CIC directly.
2) How long it takes to get passport request after the medical
3) Does receiving medical request means the application is in final process?
