maybe something late april. i like to anticipate worst case scenarios just so im not dissapointed LOL. ik its psychological.
a family friend of mine had his done in 9 months; april-dec 2015.
idk ppl say its diff if ur sponsoring a guy/gal
guys take more time on back checks & security etc idk just waiting

hey there, thx i really appreciate that! i think i better be off not thinking about it all the time & focus on other sh*t too lol
it can really become a mindless headache man, ur right - im sponsorin' the husband.
i used to check ECAS everyday but now its like every couple of days. meh. :-\

tired of not seein anythin pop up. on second thoughts i then think that id have to kinda check in frequently to make note the date of when the status changes...

relax, you're doing great so far. you've gotten this far without a single request from LVO, and that's a very good sign indicating they don't have any concerns.

i said in one of my earlier posts that you've most likely passed eligibility at this point, which means the interview also would've been waived. that's very good news in itself; having an interview can add 8-10 months to the processing time. btw there is no set rule saying it takes longer to sponsor a guy. look at the spreadsheet and you'll notice the same thing. don't listen to the people that discourage you like that.

you can expect a DM in 30-60 more days from now.

don't worry i'm also guilty of overthinking, and i think most if not all of us here are. if i talk to anyone else about this, they tell me to CHILL DOWN BRO, but they don't understand. these are our loved ones we're talking about here, and it's perfectly normal to be constantly worried about it. in fact, if you weren't worried, then that would be cause for concern.

yeah i'll update everyone when i get the notes, but i'm not really expecting much, lol. i just ordered them because i want to find out what the "we started working" line on ecas means.

AOA , got a couple of queries if any one can shed some light on it ,

1- got SA on 17th of march 2016 and file has been transfered to LVO , whats the next step , do they usually send AOR 2 or its directly going to be updated in ECAS , if thats the case on average how many days does it take for them to send aor2 or update on ecas .

2-after file has been transfered on an average how long does it usually take to reach the DM stage .
