Alhamdullillah I just recieved PPR after 5 months, got DM in October,2015. Case specific Enquiry is the only way. Don't loose hope & pray Almighty Allah! Wish everyone best of luck & thank you every one who helped in this forum. It took 16 months in total. May Allah be with all of you!

ooh ok..i guess london visa office is pretty slow updating the status and contacting applicants.i received SA 5 days ago my ecas is still showing only two line app received and medical received.

My ecas is still showing SA as in process while mine is DM and already got my PPR

I applied in October 2015, and got sponsor approval on dec 7 ,2015


1. Application received date
2. We have started processing date

Nothing it saying about the Medical Received, but I submit my medical when I applied!!

PLEASE be aware that photo specifications for Citizenship, Permanent Residence and Passport have changed from 35mm x 45mm to 50mm x 70mm.
We had our photos rejected for the Permanent Residence card even though they had provided us the photo specifications, it had changed to new photo specifications this year and we were asked to provide new photos.

My experience with PIA.

Well firstly, I was pretty excited when received the COPR documents.
I had booked my flight with PIA because we had a 6 month old baby and it's the only airline that has a direct flight from Pakistan to Canada.
It was a really bad experience with PIA (aka. "Perhaps I'll Arrive).

They delayed the flight by 1.5 hours for a few passengers that arrived late.
I made a request to PIA contact centre for a baby meal. When I asked for the baby meal to the flight attendant, they said they never received any request.

For this long-haul flight, they provided only 2 meals instead of 3. Many passengers kept asking for snacks.

I requested a baby bassinet. They did provide a dirty bassinet, we covered it with the baby blanket but when we were about to place the baby in the bassinet -- it dropped onto the floor!
The baby bassinet had a damaged hook. Luckily, the baby was not inside the bassinet.

I notified the flight attendant of this incident. He said, he will return with a feedback form but he never returned again.

Don't worry about this...they are not updating it regularly rather they r just creating new UMI,s for new applicants and adding their records only

So that's not a big issue...but u can send them case specific inquiry tone on the safe side and ask them whether they have received ur medical or not because last year they didn't received medical records of mostly applicants which delayed their process!!!

Thanks for sharing your experience with all of us but we don't have any other option when we talk about direct flight so v need to bear this pathetic service....

salam everyone! Alhamdulillah i got my passport with matial status changed .But the given and family name is same as in other documents. Now im collecting the educational documents. For pakistan applicants they are asking for original documents but the problem is that they are in the custody of my medical university. Other problem is that my date of birth is different in matric and intermediate certificate while in all other documents its the same. So can i give my transcripts of matric, inter and current university? Help me please. Im so worried

Many Many congratulations on the PPR! =)

As for the Appendix-A, you just need to fill in as the principal applicant, no need to fill it for the rest of the family!
