I got the acknowledgement email from CIC two days ago of receiving my application, but I’m unable to see any status on ECAS. Is that normal?

Since I’m sponsoring my wife, do I input my details on ECAS to check status?

Hi Raheel16, Saadbhatti1 ...we all are in the same boat. I got too acknowledgement email from cic. We all applied in 2nd week of Jan 2016 .

Lets make a group of people who applied in jan 2106...Anybody can help how to craete a group ??

Hello Mirza, So nice to hear that January folks are getting AOR. I sent my file on Jan 29th and CIC received it on Feb 1 , so you see I am in the middle haha. Anyways there is already a group if you look for "January Outland Applications". All the "january" applicants are participating there. Some of them got SA too so InshAllah be on the lookout, you might hear some good nows again.

Hello all,

I have been looking at this forum for the last 8 months and wanted to thank you all for sharing important information. I would like to share my time lines and experience: applied for wife sponsorship may 2015 and got PPR email today at 10:06 a.m. and I got the status changed to 'decision made' a week ago.
So I hope and pray that all of u get the spousal immigration process completed as soon as possible ... Just have patience and lots of prayers...

And for people who got PPR request you just have to follow the link and for Karachi people you need to go to Gerry's express office with the letter and ask for value added service of passport transmission.

hey does anyone has the access to the spreadsheet? because i think its not updating regularly.

I applied 5 months ago but still dont know who is the officer taking care of my file.

[/quote] salam everyone! Alhamdulillah i got my passport with matial status changed .But the given and family name is same as in other documents. Now im collecting the educational documents. For pakistan applicants they are asking for original documents but the problem is that they are in the custody of my medical university. Other problem is that my date of birth is different in matric and intermediate certificate while in all other documents its the same. So can i give my transcripts of matric, inter and current university? Help me please. Im so worried
