My wife bringing Gold jewelry with her and she is coming as new immigrant
1- Does she need to show the receipts of the gold jewelry
2- she plans to bring some of her existing gold jewelry after about a year. how it should be declared now, so we don't pay taxes in future.

1- They did not asked from us when we landed a few months back. But even then its better to have them as "better to be safe than sorry".
2- She can bring what else she wants as an immigrant; for the first time with out any taxes/custom. But she has to mention all of the jewelry (she need to deposit exact pictures of it) and any other stuff to be brought later on the B4- goods/items to follow. Its worth mentioning that she can bring the items mentioned in B4 when ever she wants (like 5 years, 10 years or like wise - from the date of landing etc) with out any custom/taxes; there is no dead line for them as present.

I believe they are doing your background checks. We received our originals back once the visa officer was satisfied that the relationship was genuine but it could be different for case by case? I think you should order notes. Ordering notes was a huge relief for us because we were not worried about anything after reading them. We knew it was just a matter of time.

Yes, I did order notes.... but how are they doing background checks if they sent our original documents??
Did they make photocopys or soemthing

I am so confused and how long do you think until I get DM, considering I got original files back in September

Thanks for your help. I believe I didn't provide the letters from family, relatives and friends, that's what the require as I can understand from the letter, otherwise everything is given in the application, even I have written in the application how I arrange living. Thanks for your concerned.

Thank you for your feedback. Do you think is this PPR 1? I have to send 2 current photographs and color copy of passport at LVO. After receipt of these documents LVO will send me PPR 2 so I need send my original passport at Islamabad for visa and COPR. Am I right?
