My wife submitted her passport on Monday (Sept 28) and we got it back today on Thursday (Oct 1).
So I guess it can also take as little as 4 days!

Perfect time, Which VAC did you submit your Passport?

At Karachi airport yes, but not sure about Islamabad. However, I would suggest get it from any Govt. hospital before hand by paying mere Rs. 50/-, someone I know was cheated at the airport and paid Rs. 3,000/- instead.

My wife got for free at PIMS Islamabad. I suppose I will go there with baby also.

what if you have hired Immigration lawyer/consultant ?? PPR will be still going to Applicant ??

Do you plan to return right away with your baby Mercy? What sort of travel documents will the newborn need? Congratulations on DM btw

Thank you. I am leaving ISB Dec 25 to Toronto, so have plenty of time.
The baby will have Limited Validity Passport Canadian passport, Pakistani Passport, Nadra Birth Certificate and Polio Certificate.

Thank you. I am leaving ISB Dec 25 to Toronto, so have plenty of time.
The baby will have Limited Validity Passport Canadian passport, Pakistani Passport, Nadra Birth Certificate and Polio Certificate.

Do they really require the NIC/NICOP # of both parents to start the child's pakistani passport application? I was under the impression they only required it of one parent. In our case my NICOP was expired so i have to wait 6 weeks to be issued a new one before being able to apply for child's passport.

Yes, you will need a valid NIC/NICOP for both parents to get a Pakistani Passport for the child.
Because I am not a Pakistani National, I have to supply my Canadian Passport.
