I see in ur time line that ur status "in process " is since march but the spreadsheet shows that ur status chnged to in process in august. Can u pls tell me is ur status inprocess since so many months n uv not heard anythng still?

Email them and write "urgent" along with your UCI number in the subject line and inform them correction in the email.

Already sent the correction request through case specific inquiry, is this the right way to go about. haven't written my UCI there as the form includes the UCI. Please let me know if there is any email address as well

15 days are over now still waiting for the visa to be stamped on passport

Where did you submit your paasport? I submitted my passport on 17th septemner through VAC karachi , still haven't got my passport back .

Hi everyone,
Congrats to all those progressing in this struggle to be reunited with our loved ones!
Just wanted to get some opinions from you guys. My husband was requested additional docs mid August which were sent a couple of days later, along with the remedical which was done on Aug 24. After that, there has been no update from LVO there has been no update on ECAS either for both upfront medical or this remedical and if it has been received. Anyone want to shed some light on what could be happening? If they needed anything else from us, they would have asked with that request no? Really confused :-[ should we expect PPR soon?

LVO neither acknowledges receipt of docs most of the times nor does eCAS represents the same. Moreover, eCAS is not reliable too as had technical glitches in the recent past. So I would say LVO has received both the things but will not acknowledge that. The only way you could know is either by ordering notes or wait for few more days until eCAS updates as "medical results have been received".

Here are people waiting since May or even further after taking their re-meds, so wait it out patiently, Inshallah next you will hear is "Decision Made".

I ordered notes previous month and they responded in detail. And put me in the queue for the interview. Some things I haven't understood. Plz help me out brothers and sisters !
"The processing of your request is now complete and I am pleased to enclose the documents requested. Certain information qualifies for exemption pursuant to section(s) 16(1) law enforcement and investigations of the Access to Information Act.Please be advised that you are entitled to submit a complaint regarding the processing of your request to the Information Commissioner within sixty days of the receipt of this notice."

What does this mean? And specially what does sixty days stand for? What are they trying to say?

You have received your ordered notes, right? actually this is an accompanying letter written in official language that they have fulfilled your required documents under rights given by Canadian Constitution to every citizen / PR. Moreover, they have given you the right to complaint within sixty days if you are not satisfied with their service. So, in short nothing to worry about just relax and prepare for the interview.

No, I haven't ordered notes yet. I was thinking to do but after MP's feedback I just made my mind to wait. Do you have any idea that how much time they will take for background check? 2 months, 4 months? Senior members Any idea? Tnx

You should have ordered notes by now to see if there any red flags. The notes give you the idea what VOs have put comments on your file and if they are waiting for any doc or requirement you can send them voluntarily. Most of the times MPs simply give the generic answer as it is still in process or they are conducting background / security checks etc.

CSE will be enough as you mentioned you have sent already. I am wondering how the CSE form was accepted without UCI as I think it is mandatory field, right? If you are still confused then send another CSE this time with proper information or email them. The email address is in FAQs under Mercy's signatures.

Hello everyone,

Very new to this forum and hoping to get help and insight in this tedious matter.

I’m going to apply for my husband’s sponsorship. We’ve been married for 4 years and have a 3 year old daughter. My husband applied for Visitor Visa from Pakistan when I was due with our first baby but the lawyer he used in Pakistan was a fraud and because of his misrepresentation, there was a 2 year ban that was applied to my husband’s visa. His ban was lifted in March 2015, therefore we are now trying to apply. Could someone please help me find a good immigration lawyer? Someone they’ve dealt with in the past or currently?

Also, is there a way to apply from another country? Since Pakistani timeline is now 42 months. My husband has a 1 year work visa to France. Can he apply through that visa office?

It’s been so long and I really need to start my family’s life together. Please help anyway you can. Much appreciated.
