Well, I was just talking to my wife last night and we were both guessing when CIC would take action on our file.
Because I am close behind you, I decided to log into eCAS and noticed our status changed to "in process" for Permanent Residence Application.

I am little bit confused please help to out to resolve this, 29th July sponsorship approval and file transferred to LVO at this time on ecas permanent residency status was "APPLICATION RECEIVED" after a week status changed to "IN PROCESS" . I saw on other threads after file transferred, visa office takes two to three months to update ecas Application received to In process than why they are updating my case so fast is this normal or what? As of now i didn't receive AOR2 letter from LVO.

Is International License made from Pakistan valid in British Columbia?
Can we take the class 5 road test immediately if Pakistani driving license verified is many years old?

I just check my ECAS status, and it has been change to 'In-Process'. Alhamdulillah.

So how long for PPR now?

Does anyone from the London, UK office have an AOR2 . Do you know how long that takes, I got my SA a good 3 weeks ago and still dont have an AOR2 and ECAS is still showing application received

LVO does not send AOR in most of the cases, expect to hear from them after 8 - 10 months from file transfer

I have been hearing different stories that ever since the Family Sponsorship office has been moved to London, UK, the processing time has been decreased tremendously and sponsored individuals have been receiving their Landing Documents within 12-16 months. How true is that?

Also, Can you apply for a visiting visa for your spouse once the Sponsorship Application is in progress?

Lastly, after you have submitted your Sponsorship Application and you visit your spouse (be it in Pakistan or both husband and wife meet somewhere else), should the immigration office be contacted to update them with the proofs of recent visit?

Following are the answers to your questions:
1. Pretty much true, between 12 - 14 months.

2. Yes, one can apply for visit visa, but hardly 5% people are lucky ones to get the same.

3. It is not necessary, but some people send the proofs voluntarily as additional docs.

You are confused. The applicant's Stage 1 sponsor approval was on Jan 7, 2015.
