Hello everyone.
I hope you are doing well.

I’ve been watching the posts in this forum for months now and noticed a lack of patience not to be rude. Allow me to explain why I say this.

My permanent residence application for my wife was sent and started processing February 4, 2019 and we just got a remedical request today from London. Our 12 months or as IRCC claims 80% of applicants deadline was up February 4th. We are one of the 20% because IRCC thinks it won’t be till after April 17 when her first medical will expire that we get a decision on the file. This was found out through my MP who has done inquiries for me on what’s taking so long.
We got married on October 29 of 2018 which means by the time this dumb process is done with, it will be a year and a half of not being together after being married. People should really confront those London officers and ask how they would feel if this was happening to them sigh... My wife and I have the reason to be emotional and impatient and annoyed at this point.

Think of it this way I’d suggest. If your application isn’t past the 12 month period since it started processing at Sydney then be patient since you’re still within the 80% timeframe at least and let things happen as time goes.

Sorry if this sounds or is harsh but I’m frustrated and seeing some of you being stressed or complaining about the process when you’re not after 12 months is bothersome.

Have a great day.

Well not hearing anything upto 11 months is also a sign of being in that 20% so of course it will freak people out. Everyone’s stress level is different.

Depends on what stage of the process you are on I’d say.
If your AOR2 is already done being in London and you are waiting for next steps whether they are ADR, DM or Pre-Arrival, I’d say even if it’s been 11 months, the stress is not necessary just yet because you could hear something the next day or week and still be one of the 80%.
