its like that they sent sponsorship rejection in july 2013 and informed us that his previous wife has availed social benefits . my husband has cleared all dues and wrote bak to cic in feb 2014. now we got refusal letter. my ecas status changed to decision made in PR.

if his previous wife was availing social benefits then CIC has to refuse u at 1st stage,,,,did u get confirmation and aor of 1st stage

got confirmation and sponsorship rejection mentioning the same fact that ur previous sponsorship undertaking is in default. cic also sent attched form that need to be submitted by an officer of social welfare after paying the debt. we did the same and submit tht in feb 2014

where did u submit that,,u have to send that to Mississauga office ,,ur case was at 1st stage but i think u sent all documents to islamabad and london,,but u didnt sent to Mississauga and Mississauga office has to approve ur case first after clearing all dues

y r u saying it they denied on technicality? my husband has paid all the loans availed by his previous wife

Beause your husband paid the amount back but after submission of the application.

which province ur husband is,,few provinces has long waiting time for appeal,,get all this info and then decide wht is best appeal or reapplying

i am a bit confused , i hope someone would be able to help and would answer my questions. I am a permanent resident and want to sponsor my husband he is working in saudi but we are from pak. So pakistan application processing time is very long like 33 months .. so we were thinking since he is living and working in saudi we should put the visa processing office of abu dhabi as the processing time for that is 15 months . and riyadh applications for sponsorship are processed in abu dhabi so i have to put abu dhabi office in the forms right ?

Yes, you are right one has to apply from his/her country of residence no matter whatever nationality one has. So, apply from UAE VO.

Best option is reapply
I also saw a rejection case in my family even both husband and wife has their first marriage
Then she appealed and waited for 1.5 years with no reply from them and they rejected again
She reapplied after 3 months and then it took them 2 years approximate to get pr

In your case you should reapply in mississauga office with the help of a good lawyer
Make a strong file
Put everything in it and apply to mississauga office
They will reply you in a month or may b less that your sponsorship is approved or not
Then you need not to hang with appeal for 1.5 year
Rest depends on you

Hi all, I sort of know the answer to this but I just need some confirmation.
I applied for the wife everything is going well. File was received in Apr in Mississauga then transferred to London in May 2014. Since then my file shows as medical received on the Cic website. Is that normal or should I be expecting my file to be delayed past 11 months window cic has shown for cases being filed out of London.
What tips can I get from you guys that can help me understand the time it could take before file is opened. I got notes and it shows as put away.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I have question for expert on the pakistani to apply as commonlaw partner. following is my case.

• I am Canadian Citizen (since 2004)
• Married in 2004 and sponsored my 1st Wife(x-wife), she came to Canada in jan 2006
• Had 2 Kids with Her.
• Divorced her in 2008 in Pakistan. X-wife still living in Canada she got her divorce certificate in canada in 2010 from Ontario court.
• Re-married in 2009 to lady with 1 dependent Boy. She only has the stamp paper that shows States that her X-husband is divorcing her (No certificate of divorce).
• Now i Have 3 kids with my 2nd wife living together since 2009 with 1 of her dependent kid.
• Question now i have is, should i apply as common law or married spouse category. Since me and my 2nd wife did not have the union council certificate of divorce when we got married in 2009. If we get them now it will show that date that we applied for the divorce certificate and not the date that divorce was commenced.

Also how can I know if my x-wife applied for welfare. I have not received any notification from any government department regarding dues or payment.

salam, I read your message and wanna give here answer of your question. In my openion after aprovel if your application directly transfer to London ( uk) then your case will be completed within 11 month and if your file move to Islamabad Pk and then London , so then your case will be completed within twenty month to 33 month . Hi everyone!
Those of you who have received your visa in Spousal Sponsorship, I need your advice. Should I send "Original" Educational documents with the application? This seems scary as the process takes long and what if my wife needs her original educational documents in the mean time? Or what if CIC loose the documents? I am very confused....I'll really appreciate your suggestions.
