Depends, if you have mentioned your email, then all correspondance will be via email including re medical.

i applied march2013 no news net. apply notes it will help you to understand the progress of your file or is your file assigned to any visa officer or not.

I just came across this forum while doing a little research. It's kind of comforting to see I'm not the only one going through this! I just had a question regarding the processing time in the London Office. The CIC website states its 11 months but does that time apply to pakistani spousal sponsorships? Or will the Islamabad processing time of 33 months apply?

I talked to the legal assistant who put together my file and she told me it would be 11 months but when I talked to the immigration lawyer he advised the Islamabad processing time of 32 months would apply. I've been getting different answers from everyone I speak to and it's so frustrating! I really wish CIC would specify on their website so everyone could have some peace of mind.


Are there any cases that any of you know of that were processed in 11 or so months?

Hello everyone! I would like to ask about the proof of relationship to sponsor, I'm planning to send our chat messages on skype but it is in our native language but there are some english words too like saying I love you to each other. Should i have the non english conversation be translated to english?

I ve been going through a spreadsheet on another thread of london outland applicants and on average it take 6 to 8 months. But pakistan's cases are an exception so in that case i dont think we fall into that category or we can apply those processing times to us because there is too much of backlog. Although people whom cases were transfered directly could have this possibility as their cases are not part of a mass transfer and we have already seen people getting their cases done within a year. I think their priority is to complete 2013 cases within 11month mark and simultaneously processing 2012 cases. Again thats just an assumption. Because with those trends A few january 2013 and 2012 june -july cases got correspondence.

I dont think they'll take this long. I think you should make an inquiry through your MP. This will atleast give u an idea about how long they will take to contact you.

My wife has submitted apllication in july 2012 ad we got confirmation from islamabad embassy in august 2012. After that we recieved email from London embassy in june 2014 for re medical submission and original documents. Along with police clearance certificate and my daughter canadian passport and canadian birth certificate plus our pictures. I have submitted all documents in july 2014. Afterwards im still waiting for response. Is there any idea how much time my application will take to be done.

Your case is quite same as my friend's. He applied his wife's case from Islamabad in July 2012, file transferred to LVO in June 2014 and in August they received PPR1 & PPR2. I think major work (background checks etc.) were already done by Islamabad VO, now waiting for visa. So, keep your hopes high I guess you will hear something in couple of months.

I have question about LVO
got approved from Mississauga and file transferred to London visa office JUly 15 2014
I submitted all required documents 1 nikha nama ( NADRA both ) 2 birth certificate 3.education documents' 4 phone calls details lots of wedding pic 5 medical 6 police clearance

how long usually they take to contact applicant after they received application
any one know they send Email or written letters
just wondering when should LOV contact me . do wanna miss any mails letter
what kind of more document's r they looking for

11 months are tentative for LVO, hopefully you will hear something from them by Mar/April 2015

Well i agree as I saw many applicant who clear their first stage in jan 14 and did not get any response till now that why i told that 11 month is not for all but some how processing time will be reduce but that still not official.

Start communicating in English. (quit the urdu if you want to use those msgs as evidence)

skype call log can also be used.

My wife has applied for spouse sponsorship for me in 2012 june.
I have sent my 2nd medical along with my newly born daughter birth certificate and passport along with original police clearance certificate and merriage certificate. For PPR 1

Can any body tell me how much it will take more.

NO SEND THEM AS IT IS. NO NEED TO TRANSLATE. THEY JUST WANTED TO KNW THT U GUYS R IN CONTACT. NOT WHT U R TALKING ABT!!!!
