Long time lurker on this forum, first time poster. This forum has been quiet helpful, and Alhamdulillah I'm almost at the finish line.

I have applied for my wife's spousal sponsorship and she has received an email requesting her passport to be sent in. The passport is to be sent to Islamabad for visa Issuance. As stated in the letter sent, we checked out a VAC (Visa Application Centre) in Lahore to submit the passport. When my wife had gone there, they advised her they wouldn't accept the passport, all they would need is a Deposit Slip to be filled out and submitted. This seemed to be very confusing since it clearly stated on the letter and on the VFS website to submit it through these locations.

Upon investigation, many people have advised for us to submit the passport through TCS, even though that option is not suggested in our letter.

Please help and advise. I appreciate all and any insight in advance.

We received the email on May 29th. It states "You must now complete the following actions within 30 days of the date of this correspondence so that your permanent resident visa(s) can be issued". Not sure if this is what your referring to?

April 28, 2015: Submitted Medical Re-assessment

May 29, 2015: Received email to submit passport for visa issuance

Any idea how I should go about our passport submission?

Lot of June 2014 applicants have received their re-medical requests. I'm also June 2014 applicant, my e-case showing "In Process" (as of 22 MAY, 2015) and also says medical results have been received but we haven't received any re-medical requests from LVO.

Does that mean LVO has extended our medical results? And what to expect next?

Hi; my wife gave her passport today at Islamabad VFS.

I am checking the tracking website now and following message apperas:

Visa application, tracking ID No.20150605XXXXXXXX Your processed passport has been received at the Canada Visa Application Centre, on 05/06/2015 and is ready for collection. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.

Does it mean they stamped it the same day?

It is a generic message everybody gets whenever he logs in. It is not possible that the passport has already been stamped the day it was submitted, infact it has to be transmitted to CHC Islamabad for stamping and this may take a week or so. Please wait for a call from VFS to collect the same.

It is the discretion of VO to either extend the medical or call for re-med, so keep the hope high for extension of medical. What to expect next; possibly DM Inshallah.

this is extremely stupid of CIC, to give few days to land.

If he doesn't arrive by june 7th, he will have to re-send back the Visa/COPR/passport to Islamabad, possibly complete another medical and wait for new visa/copr

Should try to fly out ASAP on any available flight if possible

so it means once visa is expired, and it is possible to renew visa after re-medical but it will take some time like 2-3 months etc, am i right?pls

Hi All,

I hope you all will be good. I am a silent reader on this blog. I sponsored my wife in last April 2014. Application forwarded to London in June. In January 2015 they asked me for additional documents and then i received an email from Delhi immigration regarding medical (just Xray) in April 2015. The medical is been done in early May and now on 30 May my status says ''Decision Made''. TODAY MY WIFE RECEIVED A PASSPORT REQUEST ALHAMDOLLILAH. I pray that may Allah be helper of all of you and make smooth transition for you all. Ameen sum ameen

Congratz bro.. can you please let us know how much time they have given to your wife to land in Canada? did they extended medical for 2 months or for 6 months? I have got same xray request. Please let me know. Thanx and all the best for your upcoming life!

Salam.... Once ppl get passport request...where do they go to submit it??? Which office??
