my wife got the visa but they didnt send her the original documents we submitted with the initial application. What is the procedure of getting the original documents back. any advise.

salam to all. can anybody tell me in detail, how to send passport via vfs to canadian embassy islamabad. which documents along with the letter from cic needs to be attached, what is the fee and address of vfs in lahore, and is it necessary for the principal applicant to go vfs personally for submission of passport or any other person can go for submitting passport. pls reply early.

I have only submitted the English nikkah nama (attested) and not the Urdu nikkah nama with my application but reading here that this is a requirement. Can anyone please confirm? I have 2 kids and provided their birth certificates with both parents name clrearly written on it. Married for 9 years now so dont think proof of marriage will be an issue but just want to double check with you all if i should submit Urdu nikkah nama as i dont want the application to be delayed over something so small?

It may not. However, LVO misplaced my urdu Nikkanama along with my kid's birth certificate. Because of that, they sent me PFL (Procedural Fairness Letter) and now I'm stuck in the interview queue.

Its not something small as they they always required urdu nikkah nama copy. September files are not open yet so before they ask for urdu nikkah nama and processing time increases, i would suggest to voluntary post a copy of your urdu nikkah nama to LVO and explain why you are providing.

same issue with me- I just sent mine it is received today- married for 6 years with 2 kids- that really doesn't matter you need to send it- my January got wasted due to that.

Send in your copy of Urdu Nikkah nama with a certified English copy its important guyz. It is part of there record requirement to have it.

So you must send in a notarised copy of the urdu nikkah nama.

I have sent the original nikah nama along with certified translation.

In the checklist it was mentioned "provide copies unless specifically mentioned to provide original". Marriage certificate/Nikkah Nama original was not mandatory then.
