Asalam Alikum all,

My name is Tamim Anwar and I am Sponsoring my wife Kanza, we applied on June 9, 2016 and Sponsor Approval on August 3, 2016. I followed up with local MP and CIC is now about to start Eligibility and Background Checks, I then called Immigration lawyer who is former employee of CIC, she told me if the interview gets waived then checks will be completed within less than 2 months.

This is the latest update I got.

May Allah make it easy for all of us In Sha Allah.

PROVIDED means they reviewed. Now your next turn is PPR.

Oh okay I thought "recieved" meant they reviewed documents and inshAllah!

You can see the trend, it takes more than 5 months on average from file transfer to LVO to receive correspondence from LVO (direct PPR or add doc request or re-med).
So now the waiting period starts.

I wish that will be a direct PPR and before 5 months.. ;D

My background check went into progress today but for additional doc request it's still showing provided

I am May Applicant and i applied for my notes last month. Inshah ALLAH in this 19 December i will receive it.

We will send more then 100 photos of my wife recent visit through by our lawyer. A lot of bills with letter of mine and my wife.
