no, i don't think it's that. the VO has just been really slow over the past 2 months and they needed to catch up at some point in time. if they kept working at the same pace, then january/february applicants would've been waiting 12 months before they even had their files opened. march/april would've been waiting 14 months, and so on...

i think what'll happen now is they're going to process december, january, and february in one batch so they can catch up. the only thing that's unclear is why you and Landing_PR are still waiting. it's unfair and doesn't make any sense, but just keep this in mind: there has usually been 1-2 weeks of variation in the order they open files. this flurry of activity started around sept 15, so try to hang in there and insha allah you should see SOMETHING before the end of this month, whether it's a remed request, doc request, or background checks going into progress.

Im panicking.... I got interview request, to appear in Abu Dhabi office.. does anyone know what they ask in interviews.

Yeah i hope me and landing hear something by end of this month otherwise i am in trouble i guess.

no, we're only talking about initial review here. the majority of december applicants (and some january/february applicants) have already gone through initial review, yet there's a few from the december group who are still waiting.

Is there anything we can do? Mps are not supportive gcms notes takes a month to come in.what else can we do..uuggghh its already a weekend here.

Jan 2016 applicant here. I went to MP's office today for an update. Eligibility/background checks not started yet, advised to follow up for an update by mid-October.

nothing besides waiting until the end of the month. look at how much variation there was for the november doc requests, so expect something similar for december as well. your turn is just around the corner .

When i went to MP, MP said eligibility passed on Sept 16, 2016 and medical is valid till Nov. Does eligibility means "Review of eligibility" in application profile of GC key, so LVO initially go through file and make sure eligibility of PA is passed ?

yes to both. even though the applicant has passed eligibility, the eligibility status in MyCIC will not change to "passed" until the application is finalized. all i can tell you right now is that your interview has been waived and that you will get a decision made within the next 30 to 60 days.

Can someone tell me whether only the principal applicant can link the file using GCKey or the sponsor can do it too?
My husband (sponsor) has made the GCkey and all but he is unable to link the application whereas i(principal applicant) have done it. Whats wrong with my husband's account then? :/

P.S. we have recieved our AoR1 email and have the file number.

Hi everyone, I have question regarding maintaing contact for spousal case after marriage. I only talk to my spouse on whats app and line but never call him over the phone as it was costly. After one month i came back to canada he starting calling me on my phone... Now i dont know how should i go about attachibg my call history with the case as i have chatr and they dont provide incoming call details...can i attach my whats app chat and call history or no? Please advise
