Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

My wife is a PR holder in canada but she is not working at the moment. Can she apply for sponsorship if she is not working?

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

YES SHE CAN, BUT SHE SHOULD NOT BE TAKING SOCIAL ASSISTANCE .

yes she can, if she is not taking any Welfare or bankrupt etc etc

She can just add her future plans how she will manage her finance and what are her plans regarding employment.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that. With the past few months the way CIC has been operating, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see anything this week at all :'(

Send it by the case specific enquiry method, attach all your additional documents via this link:

https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=london

OR just email LVO if you think that's easier for you. Just remember to include your names, DOBs, application submission date, and file number and UCI.

Thanku so much sis! I would love to know lil more, wht u actaully saw on ur notes which helped u to send them proofs?I hope I will send them proof of my wife's visit and communications and all that stuff till Nov as my case is going to turning in 6months on 8th Sep now so I guess it's a perfect time to send them more proofs before they will open my file rn they r working on November apps and I'm March applicant so I think I can send them such stuff till Nov? And let me know how I can send them these proofs ?through email or via post?if u can tellme that address plZ?

As I have been telling everyone that my side of the family wasn't there simply because they were against our relationship. I had no big 3 day event, no one even dressed up, we had only few of his family members and friends at a lawyers office where we got married and that was it. Our situation was unique to CIC which is why there were red flags - totally expected. The officer wrote that our wedding was outside of cultural norms. We addressed their issues simply by re-explaining our circumstances and the fact that we met again in March was a big PLUS POINT. Just to let you know I knew my husband 7 years prior to getting married. We provided all of my pictures with him and his family when I went to visit him 3 years before we got married.

I don't think anyone needs to worry about if there was nothing unusual about their wedding. It does always help to send additional proofs to prove an ongoing relationship but its certainly not a requirement. We mailed all the proofs initially and then I sent a case specific inquiry through the CIC website to submit the FEDEX parcel receipt which was accepted at their office just to give them a heads up.

Their mailing address is:
High Commission of Canada
Immigration and Medical Services Division
Canada House
Trafalgar Square
London
SW1Y 5BJ
United Kingdom

Hope this helps :)

Did you send all these documents by mail or email, or CSE?

I will be doing the same in January so I need some advice.

We sent everything by mail and then I submitted a CSE with the parcel receipt attached which someone at their office signed upon delivery of the package.
For the additional documents request - we submitted originals through mail but I also emailed the copies to be on the safe side. Once they send you a request for more documents, they will ask you to keep the same subject line which includes your officer's initials for any further correspondence with LVO. I have the officer LJF. Good luck :)
