Basically you can now link your application on the CIC website and it tells you where you app currently stands, whether there are any required documents for you to upload on the portal, etc etc. You can create an account & link your app here:

Only sponser can create that account ?

when i try to link my application on mycic, it says no applications found.
anyone else getting this error?

One of my friends, a Nov 2015 applicant, just received additional documents request. I've a couple of questions:

They requested:
1) Schedule A (IMM 5669) - which was fully complete and submitted initially
2) Letter of explanation as to why they delayed the submission of their App. after marriage
3) Proof of continuous relationship..and everyone seems to be getting a request for this it seems


Now one thing I wanted to ask you folks, since my friend submitted the application himself, and he did not complete the representative form for his wife so he can represent her, can my friend submit all of the requested documents to LVO from Canada or does his wife have to submit all of the requested documents to LVO from Pakistan?

And, I'm assuming they will have to mail the requested documents, and not upload them through the specific case inquiry? Because in the requested docs letter, it doesn't clearly specify how they would like to receive the documents.

Can someone also confirm if this is the correct address to mail the documents to LVO:

Yes address is correct, and sponsor can send the documents, just ensure UCI and applicatant's number are boldly printed and attached as cover letter. Remember to use a signed for courier too.

Hello all,
i wanted to ask those who received their passport and COPR forms from Gerrys. My COPR at the bottom left under remarks says "immigration officer" and 'date' but has not been filled in by the officer. is this supposed to be empty? will this be filled in once i enter Canada? Also on the CIC sopy of COPR my picture is glued but on my copy it is not. it is detached but was also in the packet that i collected from Gerrys. any idea?

Managed to link my account on the 1st try but tell me something I don't know: eligibility review in progress

it actually says that on MyCIC, that your eligibility review is in progress?

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not Started
Final decision Not Started

if i'm not mistaken does that mean they've started working on your file? can any 2016 applicants check to see whether they see the same thing?

i'm trying to link mine but it says the system can't find it...

what info are you using?
use the fle number and family name and only insert the place of birth,leave the passport info

No i doesnt mean that they have started working on my file,it is same as in process. Not started means that they havnt received the application. and in progress means they are currently reviewing the application for eligibility which i guess is same as in process.

Yeah but still better than ecas.which only shows in process throughout the process..at least through this we will be able to know whether an officer is working on the file or not?

i just linked mine and i also see eligibility in progress. i don't trust this.

can any 2016 applicants link theirs and check what your eligibility status is?

i want to know about nov applicant? whats their status showing?
