I am a canadian citizen and she is a pakistani citizen living in england on work permit till 2012. we got engaged in pakistan march 2008 and we will get married in dec 2010 in pakistan. I want her to be with me as soon as possible. There are 3 options i believe i have right now:

1. I come back to canada and apply for her sponsorship and she stays in pak and waits for her application to be processed this would take 8 to 14 months. (islamabad office)

2. I come back to canada and apply for her sponsorship and she goes to england and waits there for her application to be processed there this would take 2 to 8 months. (london office)

3. She applies for visit visa on her own for canada and then she comes to canada with me and then i marry her in canada and while her application for PR is processed she will be with me ...

so now i want to know which option is the best ... i want to go for the option 2 because it will take less time and it is also a legit way to apply ... i want to make sure that her application would be processed according to london office processing times and not islamabad office processing times ... she is a pakistani citizen living in england. what if she is jobless but her visa is still valid

for option 3 i feel like i m trying to trick the CIC but i just want to know what are ur thoughts.

all in all i just want her to be with me as soon as possible.

As long as she has been legally admitted to the UK for more than a year, her application can be processed in London. Be advised though, that her Pakistani citizenship will affect the length of her processing time, because she will still have to go through all the checks that would be done by Islamabad.

If she comes to Canada on a visitor's visa, and you apply Inland, she will be with you, but unable to work until you gain first stage approval.

The best option is really for you and her to decide, taking into account all your circumstances, not just the length of processing time.

Hope that helps.
