Linking our application is making me crazy! I have been locked out 2 days in a row...trying a few different combinations. Does anyone have any tips?

I forgot to mention: I did receive an email stating the app number and my UCI and that I had 7 business days to link my account.

I read through some of the 2016 threads on this because it wasn't working for me for several days either. It seems like different things work for different people. I tried several combinations and using "name" and "application number" worked for me. Strangely enough using the UCI and application number didn't work. Although it is just 1 applicant (my husband) and me as a sponsor, i think I put "2" down as the last question and this seemed to do the trick. Hope that helps.

I don't even know what to say to that. Whoever wrote the algorithm for searching through the database needs to find a different job.

lol I am with you on that, I am trying about 30 days now no luck. Locked out every single day and no luck from CIC call center either. I already sent in a Technical request for this, I thought CIC would help me but it's getting nowhere.

I tried almost all probabilities, I wonder why it's not working.

I tried to fill out the technical difficulties issue and have them contact with but no luck. I did that about 4 weeks ago and never heard anything back.
It is so strange. I was so worried because I thought I was the only one having the issue.
The only thing I can think of is an error on their part and we are not actually set up to be able to link. I have tried so many different ways I have lost track.

I just tried and got locked out... this is SO frustrating. He has two last names for example FIRST NAME LASTNAME LASTNAME would i put the whole thing? i have an app number but no AOR at this time. THe app is for my husband and his son. would we add 2 or 3 to the application?

Ohhh I see my favourite Dominican colours and flag hehe :)
You have to use both names. My hubby had the same thing. You put it in exactly how it is on the forms.
If he has a child then your number should be 3. They sent us a paper and said it would be 2 for us (my hubby doesn't have any children or dependants)
It is super frustrating! We got a letter January 17 that said we could link. We filed Dec 29 and I have tried pretty much every single day and have not been successful yet.
At this point I have accepted the fact that I probably won't ever be able to access it. I can at least see ecas.
We only have application number as well. Again on our letter they stated there was the UCI at the top corner but it was not there. Hoping to at least hear something from the Mexico VO soon

I can't believe this, I feel like I am still dreaming. FINALLY!!!! FINALLY, I was able to link my application after a month of banging my head to link my application. Usual way, selected Application# and Family name. Only changes I made, typed the Family name in CAPS and then selected 'SINGLE' in Marital Status.

Give it a try Klove and I hope it works. I believe you haven't changed the marital status (try different options like Married, Divorced, Single, etc.,) Thanks to the guy who helped me.

Can you please try and let me know?
